This was a fantastic experience, one of the best noodle dishes I’ve had in a long time. The Liangpi was sooo fresh, soft, bouncy, chewy, and just the right amount of spice. Absolutely blown away how good it was. Also ordered the Lamb Mo and it was unreal, sooo simple, sooo good! This place is a hidden gem for sure!

Yum. The lamb “mo” or Chinese burger was so juicy with just the right amount of lamby flavour. It’s not overly seasoned so you’re getting just pure lamb flavour. Good mixture of fatty and tender lean meat, and the bun was lightly toasted. Auntie running the shop also highly recommended I try a liangpi dish so I got #3, the rice noodle version (instead of wheat) - the noodles were nice and bouncy and the chili oil added an appetizing fragrance. The shop is clean and Auntie was chill and friendly. Generous portion sizes. Would definitely come back to try more from her menu!

Food is superb. Friendly service. Too bad take out only. This food would be a hit if in a better location. That said this is a gem if looking for value for your money. Highly recommend. Lovely friendly lady at the counter. First time there so I guess she hasn't seen us before and she kept telling us the food was spicy and to try before ordering. The amount of spice was just right. Not overly spicy and just enough to make it tasty.

lol to those reviewers who said the food was bad and the menu “only has two things” As someone who’s been to Xi’an and loved Xi’an cuisine my whole life, their roujiamo is the most authentic out of all the ones I’ve had in Toronto. The bun is traditional, and the meat has just the right ratio of fat and lean meats, juicy and flavorful without too dark of color. I’m surprised that someone said this place is overpriced, after having roujiamo at so many places, they price it just like most other stores $6-7. If you drink $10 a cup of bubble tea daily you should reconsider marking a $7 roujiamo as overpriced.

The place knows what they are really good at. Take-out only. We tried the liangpu and a pork hock; both of.them worth a try.

There is nothing wrong with this place. The service was fine. The food was fine. It just wasn’t to my taste. I have no idea what either the liang pi or the mo traditionally tastes like, but I found both underwhelming. I expected the liang pi noodles to be bouncy, but they were actually tender. The sauce didn’t have much depth or dimension. The mo, despite being the “saucy” version, was still pretty dry. Menu is pretty much just those two things, so I’m unlikely to return.

This is some of the best and most authentic central/northern Chinese food you can get. The Liang Pi is delicious and spicy. Plenty of noodles to soak in the broth and chilli oil. The pulled pork sandwich is full of flavour and generous with the pork. All this for $13 is a steal. Service is fast and friendly. I'm coming back to try everything on the menu.

As someone who grew up in Xi'an Shaanxi, eating this food in the home country -- I can say that this is the most authentic versions of this cuisine in all of North America. You won't find it better unless you make the trip to China.
