Tapagria Spanish Tapas Restaurant

The price is slightly high (but still acceptable in Toronto. The speed is quite slow especially for the spanish rice. I have been waiting for more than an hour for that. So if you hurry for a quick dinner, it should not be your first choice.

I went here on Sunday lunch time, it was pretty quiet. The server Amalia was explaining in detail as we don’t know much about the Spanish food. She was amazing from the start to the end with great service. We ordered 3 sharable dishes and it was great. I have been Spain and it made me remind the travel. It was a but salty but reasonable thinking it’s for drinking together. However, I agree on other people’s review that it is pricey for the food, and it is not super fancy for that much money like the sofa I was sitting was ripped off. I think it was a bit overpriced the drinks were ranging from 12$-20$. I still think to go back to try other foods with a drink but definitely awkward restaurant in some sense to recommend.

Not worth the price, portions are small (we are two and that’s OK). We arrived Tuesday night, just only one table customer there… Traditional paella are salty (~for me) Tried Spanish toast, cuz only 3 options for dessert, so-so… But atmosphere was good

This place is a hidden gem tucked away in a regular plaza. Inside is spacious with a cozy, rustic look. Beef Empanadas and Mushroom Croquetas tasted good. The croquetas had a nice truffle flavour. Jamon Wrapped Dates were delicious. The salty ham and sweet dates made a tasty combo. Calamari Frito and Pan Con Tomate with Anchovies were decent. The anchovies were a bit small though. Paella de Tapagría was pretty tasty. It had lots of seafood and meat on top, and the rice was soaked in flavorful gravy. Churros were quite crispy and not greasy, though would have been nicer to pair with chocolate sauce than dulce de leche. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We especially liked our hostess, who was always smiling and knew a lot about the dishes. We came to get brunch twice; shrimps and salad are very good! Steak was good but it was just a little too much sauce. Hope the brunch menu will rotate and try something new next time!

Food so bad. Seafood rice taste nothing. Salmon is extremely oily with their sauce. And the muscle is the frozen one not fresh. I couldnt believe it including tips almost $200 to buy a bad meal.Definitely not come back anymore.

We went for Father’s Day and were very happy. The waitresses are friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive . The roasted bone marrow is new and we really like it. Mushroom croquetas is delicious, so is paella. The appetizer portion may be smaller than some people expect, but paella is more than enough for four of us. All dishes are delicious although paella could have a bit more heat to it. The whole restaurant is clean and funny enough, we are impressed by the cleanliness of the washroom and good toilet paper (not the one ply ones a lot places use). I am a big believer that if a place can keep washroom clean, it’s a properly run place. Overall, it’s a nice leisure lunch. Food is tasty, patio is nice and we are not rushed in any way. Highly recommend.

Came here on a Saturday night with reservations for 12 people. They are not busy and is only 60% full. Our server is awesome but the manager is a little cold to us. We ordered a few bottles of red and white wine and it requires the manager to open them for some reason. Food all tastes great! It is a little pricey in compare to the Parton of the food provided. Is a nice place if you have a group of people and wanted to chat.... Parking is not easy here during dinner time around 6pm to 7pm.
