The food was mostly fine (nothing special; we had a piece of bone in a chicken dumpling, but that’s probably the supplier). The service was abysmal. We order for delivery 4 hours in advance. The driver informed us that the restaurant was filling other pickup orders for the same items any deliberately delaying ours. I called the restaurant. They were incredibly rude and refused to give a timeline. I called back and someone else answered and assisted us within 5 minutes. Overall, my impression of this place is that they are disorganized, inefficient, and rude. It was a very regrettable experience.

We’d been curious about this restaurant for a while, so we finally decided to give it a try. It seems to cater more to locals, and overall, the experience was mediocre. Our favorite dishes were the lettuce wraps with chicken and the crispy beef—both well-priced and enjoyable. The garlic shrimp and fried rice were okay; the shrimp had a nice garlic flavor but was a bit under-seasoned, so I had to ask for some salt. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and welcoming.

The food here is delicious. Service excellent. Unfortunately they are infested with fruit flies. It makes the dining experience intolerable. One bite food, swat away flies and repeat. This is an easy problem to resolve. This is our third time here but won’t return as the flies are gross. Too bad.

Seemingly family-operated nice Chinese restaurant with great dishes. Mapo Tofu was spicy and sweet, but as delicious as the one I tried in China. I loved it! Even though my wife, who is from Sichuan, says it's not supposed to be sweet. My 4-year-old also loved their small soup-filled buns (Guantang Bao). I think, on the menu they are listed as Xiaolong Bao. Shanghai noodles with beef were so-so. As for parking, there is plenty of it right across the street near Canadian Tire.

My son and hubby love their spring rolls most especially. Although every other food we order tastes nice, they are consistent.

Title: "A Culinary Journey to the Far East: Tao Northern Chinese Cuisine" When seeking a dining experience that waltzes across the tightrope of exotic flavors, lavish presentation, and warm hospitality, one need look no further than Tao Northern Chinese Cuisine. Tucked away at 220 Laird Drive, this hidden gem is a veritable treasure trove of dishes that transport your taste buds to the mystical Far East. Our culinary odyssey commenced with the Chicken Won Ton Noodle Soup, a soothing symphony of delicate flavors that nourished our souls. The Chicken Spring Rolls were next to grace our table; their golden, crispy exteriors revealing a delectable filling that married the playful textures of perfectly seasoned chicken with the earthy crunch of fresh vegetables. Tao's Chicken Fried Rice danced on our palates, a whirlwind of flavors that united smoky, caramelized notes with the tangy sweetness of pineapple. The Lemon Chicken was a true masterpiece, as if Da Vinci himself had crafted the dish. Tender, succulent pieces of chicken were lightly battered, then bathed in a vibrant lemon sauce that dazzled the senses with its perfect balance of sweetness and acidity. The Pepper Beef left us utterly speechless, with its tender morsels of beef that melted in our mouths, juxtaposed against the fiery heat of black pepper and the delicate sweetness of caramelized onions. The Assorted Seafood & Vegetables was a delightful marine medley, harmoniously combining the briny freshness of the ocean with the natural sweetness of colorful, crisp veggies. As for the Chicken Singapore Vermicelli, it was a tantalizing fusion of textures and flavors, each strand of vermicelli expertly coated in a fragrant curry sauce that bewitched the senses. Our adventure culminated in the sinfully delicious Deep Fried Bananas with Vanilla Ice Cream and strawberries. The bananas, enrobed in a feather-light batter and fried to crispy perfection, were the perfect accompaniment to the creamy, velvety ice cream, while the vibrant strawberries added a dash of color and tang to the exquisite dessert. Throughout our epicurean escapade, we were guided by the ever-charming Lambert, whose genuine warmth and attentiveness elevated our dining experience to celestial heights. The ever-vigilant Manager Jackie ensured that every detail of our evening unfolded seamlessly, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the culinary wonderland that is Tao Northern Chinese Cuisine. In a world of commonplace dining experiences, Tao Northern Chinese Cuisine is a beacon of culinary creativity and hospitality. It's not just a meal; it's an enchanting voyage to a land where flavors reign supreme and gastronomic dreams come true.

Came here with my boys for lunch after the archery range. They loved the dim sum, the Bao, the pot stickers, the crispy tofu. I loved the braised beef soup. Service was great, friendly and welcoming. Definitely be coming back
