Tamarind Modern Indian Bistro

Probably the best Indian food you will find in GTA. Really authentic flavours which reminded me of my roots in India. The presentation or plating is absolutely stunning. The spices used are almost surreal as they make the nostalgic connections come alive at an entirely different level. The service could definitely be better but they were still decent and courteous.. just a bit slow and forgetful of cutlery. The atmosphere is really nice and the food quality and menu options are the best highlights of the place which makes this an excellent choice for a great meal.

I really love their appetizers especially chicken tacos. Everything was so yummy and lip- smacking. If you are craving for some good indian street food this is the right place to visit.

Guys finally we have dine- in at Tamarind restaurant. We ordered Colaba Colada drink with tandoori momos, and peri peri tandoori grill paneer. It was bit spicy but tasty 😋. We also tried Veg. Masala champ with roomali roti and it was awesome tasted. Food wise and presentation I loved it however, ambience is not that great. Wall Interior, and furniture clothing needs to be worked. Overall, I loved this place but if you want to try this place then don’t go on weekends. Also, if you like mild then please specifically mention to server’s. Enjoy eating food 😋👍

The food at Tamarind was good, but unfortunately, the overall experience fell short. The music was too loud, making it hard to have a conversation. On top of that, the service was disappointing — it felt disorganized and not very attentive. While the food itself was enjoyable, the atmosphere and service issues made the visit less pleasant. Due to these reasons, I won’t be coming back to this location.

Food was amazing. But portions are very small. Service is just ok, the atmosphere is very lack lustre. Read they were on the Michelin Guide and gave it a try, would expect much better service and ambience. Also would expect a real menu at a Michelin Guide restaurant, but no just a QR code on the table that takes you to their website.

Very lively party vibe atmosphere for Friday dinner with a live band playing. Went to celebrate my daughters birthday the band sand happy birthday specially for her. We ordered Panipuri shots classic, chili Gobi palak kebab and Lahori fish fry for appetizers. All taste fabulous and a Panipuri shot is an experience For main you need to order a biriyani of your choice as they serve it in a very novel way and taste fantastic Other mains were tamarind rice , fish curry butter chicken naan, lamb sheesh kebab All taste excellent for a Michelin restaurant

Amazing place with a fantastic patio seating area and a live band performing Bollywood songs. The drinks are great, especially the cocktails. The drinks are top-notch, with a variety of incredible cocktails to choose from. The food also holds its own—while everything was tasty, the tandoori momos were truly excellent. Highly recommend for a great evening out!
