Takumi Ramen

We recently had dinner at Takumi Ramen, and everything was amazing! My husband and I loved every order we tried, and the ramen was absolutely delicious. I particularly enjoyed the black garlic soup—I don’t usually drink the soup, but this time I finished it all. I appreciated having the choice between pork shoulder and pork belly; I opted for the pork shoulder, and it was perfect. Jason, one of the staff members, was incredibly friendly and thoughtful. When I ordered takeout, he kindly waited about five minutes to place the order to ensure the food stayed warm. The restaurant was clean, and we had such a wonderful dinner experience. We’ll definitely be coming back!

I love ramen and wanted to try this place, so I went here with my cousin for lunch. Our server was friendly and nice and the place was adequate. I ordered the black garlic tonkatsu with thin ramen and my cousin ordered the spicy ramen with braised beef. We also ordered takoyaki. The meat and the ingredients were cooked really well, I think the broth was ok. The takoyaki was ok too. The place is decently priced. For me personally, I would try other ramen places.

Don’t know how they could make ramen no taste yet so heavy? After having it my boy friend and I had a bad stomach aches in the middle of the night, we couldn’t sleep at all. And their ramen is thin curly one, not thin straight, feels like instant noodle. In fact it’s better to cook an instant ramen noodle at home than to dine here. We can’t get a cup of water to drink, even after ordering, the staff totally forgot water until we finally asked. Not recommended

Super clean environment, great music. Very upbeat. Servers were extremely friendly and a complete delight! The food was very delicious as well and very kid friendly.

Had dinner here with a friend and my daughter. The service was amazing. Our waitress was very attentive. The food was delicious. We started with the takoyaki and some speciality drinks. Pear, strawberry and the fruit tea met all expectations. We all had the pork belly with our ramen, and it was cooked perfectly. If you’re craving ramen, this place will not disappoint. Broth is really good. Will have to come back to try the BBQ side of this establishment.

Great place to have Japanese Ramen! Noodles are al dente, broth is creamy, egg is flavourful! Pork belly was very tender! Portions are deceivingly big. Service was amazing! Would come back again!

Came here for lunch first time customer. Menu is not vast however, all the selections met our taste. Order two bowls of ramen, the chicken tonkatsu and beef. And they even have sukiyaki so I have to order that The garlic Ramen was delicious you get a choice of thick or thin noodles. Portion was just perfect as expected for regular size. Sukiyaki was fantastic. The stock and taste was exactly but you would expect tons of ingredients just looking at the picture you can see how amazing it looks. Now the beef was more fatty than I personally would want however others would appreciate this fattiness. For the price of $16 you get the main bowl full of ingredients, rice, egg, and a small salad. Amazing deal Prices also very reasonable $15-17. Service and the lady server was excellent, atmosphere was nice, and very clean. Can't really think of anything bad so five stars! We plan to come back often!

Today was my 1st time trying ramen at Takumi Ramen in Mississauga. I dined in for lunch during mid afternoon (it was not busy at all) and tried their black garlic tonkotsu ramen as well as their chicken karaage with their regular sauce. Menu selction is limited but I was extremely satisfied with my order. The tonkotsu broth was absolutely delicious and had the right amount of flavour. I liked how the broth wasn't too rich/heavy and salty. The marinated egg was not overcooked; the yolk was still runny inside (preferably my favourite) and was packed with a well-balanced umami flavour. The in-house ramen noodles tasted average to be honest. They were cooked fine but there was nothing noticeably special about them. As for the chicken karaage, it was tasty and wasn't too oily. Pricing wise, for the quality of my ramen dish overall and the amount of chicken I got--it was reasonably priced. Also, I was really impressed with their customer service. An Asian female server took my order but I'm not sure what her name was. I suspected she had some kind of subtle Australian/South African/Scottish accent? Anyway, she was SUPER kind, sweet, friendly, and caring. Service was quick and she checked in with me after a few times to make sure my food was prepared just how I liked it. The restaurant was also noticeably clean and spacious. Parking was easy to find. I will definitely be coming back for sure and I would 110% recommend this place.
