Omakase dinner special excellent experience! Food is always delicious. Chef Taki is super nice and catering well for our dietary needs when my friend had allergy. Nice to make reservations and easy to park.

My new favourite sushi lunch spot. Chef Taki is amazing. He is patient and is very responsive to allergies. The lunch omakase is more than delicious. The fish is super fresh and each piece of sushi is perfection.

Literally a hidden gem since no one really talks or post about it on social media. Spontaneously walked into TAKI Japanese Cuisine for dinner one weekend, and we were so thankful that they were able to take the 2 of us in for omakase dinner at the bar! They took over the same space as Rin Sushi with the same decor and same layout. The waitresses who served us that evening wore traditional Japanese kimonos; the chef and staff all spoke in Japanese. Food and service were amazing! We opt in for the Sakura Sushi Omakase Course (160) - Appetizer - Osumasi Soup - 5pcs Sashimi - Mushimono - 8 pcs Sushi (the uni was amazing!) - Tamago w/ anago - Negitoro Handroll - Matcha Mousse Dessert They have an omakase promo right now for 95/pp, which imo is a pretty good deal for the quality and experience! I am actually excited to come back and check out the Sukiyaki dinner for 2 people (U.S. Angus & Japan Wagyu beef) for next time!

Came to try the lunch omakase. I picked Sashimi Sushi Courst $55. Very fresh and the portion is just right, not too full and won't keep you hungry. The only minus is no sake pairing. It would be great if they could add it in their menu.

I had been eager to visit Taki due to its fantastic Google reviews, and it did not disappoint. I ordered the Dinner Omakase Special, and the quality of the ingredients was outstanding—everything was incredibly fresh. The service was flawless as well. The highlight of the sushi was definitely the Toro and Uni, which literally melted in my mouth, and the hand rolls were crafted to perfection. Overall, it was great value for the price. The only downside was the Tamago, which fell short of my expectations and could use some improvement. However, I would definitely visit again.

I had the $90 Lunch Special and enjoyed it so much that I decided to return for the $210 Matsu Omakase dinner course - it was worth every penny. Everything was incredibly fresh, and the quality was outstanding. Watching Chef Taki prepare each piece of sushi right in front of you made the experience unique, and the all Japanese staff in kimonos added an authentic touch to the atmosphere. Overall, an unforgettable experience - I highly recommend it!

Taki is the name of the sushi chef and restaurant. He is a one man show and was very pleasant and fun to talk to. He had been opened for 1 year and does no advertising. We had made a same day reservation for a Saturday at 8:30pm. We arrived at 8pm and were able to seat early. There is a TV that was playing walking videos of Tokyo. I would have preferred to have it turned off or display something more peaceful as it was kind of distracting from the whole dining experience. I did enjoy the background music playing softly though. There is only counter seating for the omakase which can seat 10 people. He also offers sukiyaki meal sets in another room. The $95 omakase menu special was such a deal for the quality and service we got. The service was so attentive. The 2 lady staffs were dressed in cute kimonos too which added to the whole Japanese restaurant vibe. They were quick to refill our tea and remove our plates. However sometimes they spoke very softly and I couldn’t hear what I was being served. The omakase was one of the best I’ve had. Everything was so fresh. I had too many favorites which included the soup, salmon carpaccio, mushimono, uni, Hokkaido scallop, and the matcha pudding that his wife makes was amazing. 8pcs of sushi was the perfect amount for this omakase and at $95, you better make a reservation soon before the special is no longer being offered.

We had an excellent omakase experience at TAKI. The hostess and servers provided excellent service and the chef prepared the sashimi and sushi dishes with care. They currently are offering their Omakase Dinner special at $95 which I absolutely recommend because it has excellent value. We also tried their Sakura Sashimi Course and Matsu Uni Toro Cup Course. I really appreciate that they let you order different courses since some restaurants require everyone to order the same course. The appetizers had good variety and were delicious. The fish (sashimi and sushi) is super fresh and high quality. Sitting at the sushi bar you can see the care the chef puts into each piece. The Matsu Uni Toro Cup Course includes the chef's special (toro, uni, ikura and caviar topped with gold flakes and a shiso flower) and Wagyu beef served sukiyaki style with an onsen egg. Both dishes were high quality and worth the splurge if you're so inclined/enjoy those items. The dessert (matcha pudding with brown sugar sauce) was also very well executed as the pudding was not sweet at all and paired perfectly with the brown sugar sauce. Overall I would definitely recommend TAKI as the atmosphere is very relaxing and the food is good quality. I will definitely be back!
