Absolutely love this place!! I always think of the food here and make trips specifically to get their food. I’ve come here over six times in the past 6 months and the food never disappoints. The owner is very friendly and gave us free omelette the first time we came! I always get the same thing: taiwanese fried pork chop rice. I’ve also tried the chicken cutlet rice, the salt and pepper popcorn chicken rice, and the braised pork rib rice. All are amazing!! But my personal favourites are the pork chop and the popcorn chicken. This is as close as it gets to authentic Taiwanese food in Toronto. With each bento box, you can choose three sides. I absolutely love the tomato egg and potatoes!! The mapo tofu is great too! There is limited seating inside, but it seems like most people buy takeout anyways. Service is great and they also have some very traditionally Taiwanese drinks as well! Highly recommend!!

This is a really solid spot to grab food. There’s so much menu to choose from, and the quality is top notch. There’s price is affordable too. The food is delicious. I highly recommend! There are tables to dine in as well!

I ate the chicken cutlet bento. The chicken was crystalized sweet as well as salty with the poultry. It was heavenly. The service was also amazing and the staff are wonderful and kind. It is a small place which is probably a part of the reason why the prices are so reasonable. They are also a new business so please support them.

TLDR: Finally, Taiwanese food somewhat nearby that is good! Their main offering is bento boxes but ordering their popcorn chicken as an appetizer is a good idea because it is well made 🫡 Not sure how I never noticed this storefront but their IG implies they've been open since May of 2024! -[TAIWANESE DEEP FRIED SALT & PEPPER CHICKEN] $9.99 🍗 This style of chicken is boneless, and a well known street food in Taiwan 🍗 Their version from here is perfectly fried, and seasoned to perfection 🍗 Even after 20 minutes of a walk, and half an hour of eating later, the chicken still remained crispy 😊 -[BRAISED PORK MEATBALL RICE] $14.99 🧆 The meatballs were pretty large, and tasty in a somewhat savory/sweet sauce 🧆 This was their bento menu item, and it is served on rice - you also get to choose three sides from the glass case next to the register for your bento 🧆 Their 🍆 side was AMAZING, and I will ask next time if that is a side I can order just on its own because that is how much I liked it

The Taiwanese braised pork rib was flavourful and also boneless which I really liked because it's easier to eat, my favourite side was the tomato and egg but the steamed egg was so soft and the sauce was good. The potato was just enough spicy for my mild tastebuds. Very filling and generous for the price so it's great deal

What a scam! Believe it or not, these two items cost $22 plus tax and a delivery fee (ordered from Uber Eats). It's a joke, shame on you all. The taste is very mediocre as well.

With all the bento restaurants popping up lately, I wasn't sure how good all the food would be since they're all assembled in one box. A bento means "lunchbox/packed lunch" in Japanese, which means the meals are meant to be on-the-go or take out only. I like the idea but what really matters is the quality and taste of the dishes and this place definitely hit the spot with Taiwanese dishes. I went for the authentic salt & pepper popcorn chicken combo with choices of 2-3 sides which includes (1st side: tomato & scrambled eggs, 2nd side: braised eggplant 3rd side: shredded potato), all tasted authentic and were comforting and the popcorn chicken did not disappoint! I wanted to go back for more even after having the first side dish already! The store isn't ideal for dining in, but they DO have a few small tables for 2, but you'll need to walk up and order at the front and pickup your food at the counter when it's ready! Staff was super friendly and worth trying their oyster omelet next time as an add-on to my Bento next time. I honestly prefer good "quality" food over "quantity/ayce" like many other places are doing (this place is NOT All-you-can-eat). If you make good food, then you only need a few hearty homestyle side dishes to attract customers and I'm definitely not a fan of anything that's all-you-can-eat because you can immediately tell the difference. So if you happen to walk/drive by this cute lil store on Yonge Street in North York, give this place a try!

This was the first time we ordered from here and I had high hopes, but was immediately crushed to see hair on & embedded in the rice in both dishes, BT05 & BT10. I took the pics right after taking off the lid and can see the strand(s) in both. :( The popcorn chicken and braised pork were tasty, as were the side dishes, but the portion size of the sides were disappointing. For some sides, there was about one spoonful amount of a side.
