The female staff that night was so unnecessarily rude. She took my order and didn’t follow the instructions and when I talked for a topping I actually ordered before I paid, I was told no I can’t have anymore. Her attitude was smug and dismissive. My bowl was still good but would’ve been better if I didn’t have to feel disrespected by someone I paid to get my food from. Anyway never going back to this location. Might go back to others, might not.

The server named Darakhsha was really friendly , welcoming and at the same time professional. She knew the food offered in the restaurant, made sure I get what I would like to eat by asking me and my friends questions of how would we like our food. She was multitasking however she made sure everything is smooth. For a moment we thought she’s the owner considering the responsibility she was taking. Other staff Uday was also equally contributing. She needs a raise for sure. Recommended

I’m impressed! Incredible portions, tasty meat, flavourful and fresh vegetables, delicious selection of sauces and sides! I had this place once in Calgary, and was so pleased that I had to try it here in Toronto. One of the best value for shawarma you can get in this city. Huge wraps with Saj bread which is perfectly soft and very good companion to their deliciously cooked chicken or beef. I had the chicken shawarma wrap and it was simply perfect. Huge portion, like 14 inches of wrap stuffed to the brim with flavour. They have kiosks to order and have a seat, with plenty of seating available. Staff were friendly and vocal about calling orders. Very happy with our experience here, and will definitely be returning!

Misleading Reviews – Not Worth It I really don’t understand what people like about this restaurant. The reviews are completely misleading. The food was incredibly under-seasoned, with barely any flavor. I expected something much more flavorful based on the hype. To make things worse, you’re only allowed to choose 5 toppings, and after paying full price for the meal, they charge an extra 50 cents per additional topping. For the price, the meal was disappointing and left me feeling like I overpaid for a bland experience. Not worth the visit!

A couple of weeks back, me and my buddy tried the Blueberries Flame Shawarma at this spot. Let me tell you, it was hands down the BEST shawarma I've ever had. I've tried shawarmas all over Europe, and no kidding, this one takes the cake. And this Tahini's location (2257 Islington Ave #105, Etobicoke, ON) is definitely the best one in Toronto so far. Huge thanks to Daraksha and Preet (if I got the names right) for the awesome service, good vibes, and mind-blowing food! ❤️

I purchased the ramadan special and it was the only thing I would get and it's so good that I don't want to venture away from it. The special included a large habibi bowl, with lentis soap and two samosas. The habib bowl is incredible and in the large size, it can last you for a meal and a half. The lentils soap was not to my liking, however, I think that has more to do with pallet, more than quality of the soap. The two samosas were good, not the best I had but respectable. This was all for about 20$ I believe, however now that ramadan is over, you must purchase the items separately, which is more expensive. However, I occasionally purchase the habibi bowl on it's on. The staff are quite friendly. I have never seen it full but there usually is someone eating there. It is located in a plaza so there is plenty of parking, however it does get full by other shoppers. Tip: download their app for your purchase, it gives you quite a discount on your first order. I recommend you try it
