Tadka Marun Restaurant (Maharashtrian Foods LTD)

The food here is great, reminds you of home! Authentic maharashtrian food and the north-indian options on their menu are also delicious. We got the missal, vada pav, pomfret fry, kombdi wade, mutton curry and Sol kadhi. everything had a good flavour profile. Spice levels were high but manageable. The pav that came with the missal could have been slightly toasted for a better experience. This place is meant more as a take out restaurant as the ambience inside the store is not appealing. The seating options are very uncomfortable as the bar stools are higher than the table itself. I would recommend this restraurant for take out as opposed to sit down.

Amazing little place. There is very little space to sit and it’s uncomfortable. Mostly a take out place. But the food is great. Tastes exactly like home! Ekdum zandzandit! The service is slow because they make everything fresh. You can call and order if you want to eat there. We got surmai thali and bought karanji for dessert! Perfect.

Service slow. Had to ask 3-4 times for one thing. Ordered Vada plate and was also charged for it but never got it. After leaving restaurant I realized that I had ordered and was charged also but they never give it to me. We also got wrong box in our thali, it was exchanged when we told them the same. After reminding her to give water and tissues many times she gave two tissue paper and small glass of water. Taste was good. One thali sufficient for one person. Quantity of food was nice. Food should be a little cheaper. Price higher as compared to other restaurants. Very small restaurant and chairs are uncomfortable. Taste of shells could have been better.

Great place if you are craving some authentic non veg maharashtrian food. Their Surmai Thali and Mutton Thali was amazing. We also tried their veg options like pav bhaji, poori bhaji and veg kolhapuri - taste was good but not the best. I would recommend this place for non veg lovers. Staff is friendly and polite. It's mostly a take out restaurant, very limited seating for dining.

Came across this place through reels and it wasn’t disappointing at all. I ordered for their shrimp thali, kombdi vade, crab thali and the malvani mutton. The food was amazing and brought back old memories. The shrimp, mutton and chicken curry was an absolute burst of flavours. While the crab curry was the star of the show, it was perfectly authentic and the spice level was just perfect. And the solkadi was literally a cherry on the cake. Recommend this place to all the malvani food lovers.

Tadka Marun brought back memories of home with their Malvani Chicken and Crab Curry. The flavors were spot on, just like I remember from back home. If you're craving authentic, homestyle food, this place won't disappoint. Highly recommended!!

If you've been craving real Mumbai food, here is the place to come.. We ordered an aam panna, vada pav, and misal pav. Every dish had a delicious flavour, and the amount of spiciness was just right. Especially the lehsuni chutney on the vada, yumm! An excellent spot to try. Our server was Gauri, a very sweet lady.

Went here for the first time and ordered fried fish, vada pao, and shrimp curry with rice. The fish was fantastic with flavors and so crisp and Vada pao was pretty good. I’d 100% have the vada pao again here. Shrimp curry had a burst of flavor and goes really well with rice they serve. It was bit too spicy for my liking but if your spice tolerance is high then it’s a must try. This place has some seating but we did a takeout.
