Taco Lupita

Go for CHICKEN!!! Absolutely sensational. I went for the 3 tacos mix combo. The shrimp one was also very delicious. The beef one I have to say was underwhelming and a little blend. My wife said that the vegetarian one was even better than the chicken. It’s located in a beautiful, industrial style, but modern food hall called the Waterworks. Very clean and beautiful.

Taco Lupita at Waterworks Food Hall was tasty! Got the three taco combo for about $20 and while it pains me how pricey tacos have gotten in this city, these were at least very yummy! Carne asada was my fave, followed by the chicken tinga, and finally the sweet potato.

Enjoyed all of their taco varieties with friends and we loved every one. Ingredients were super fresh and tasty, meat was tender and well cooked. Service was also very friendly, fast, and polite. Would definitely recommend and go back many times again!

I ordered the 3 taco combo with Chicken Tinga, Sweet Potato & Corn and Wild Prawn. While they were all great, I'm always partial to seafood so the Wild prawn was my FAVOURITE! 😋 It was well seasoned and the toppings enhanced the flavour just right. I must say the sweet potato & corn is a nice veggie option! The potato was cooked without being overdone, and pairs well with the corn. Chicken was also good but I'd rank it #3. All in all, I'd definitely order from Taco Lupita again!

The shrimp tacos were a revelation. I find restaurants often overcook shrimp and make it rubbery, these were perfectly cooked. Next time I’m ordering 3x of the shrimp. Good takeout packaging, too. They stayed together on my walk back to the office.

I enjoyed the flavour of the tacos I had from Taco Lupita, I just wasn't as keen on the experience of eating them. I had the Cochinita Pibil and Carne Asada tacos. The steak in the Carne Asada taco was cut in larger chunks than I would have liked, which left you struggling to break the steak apart, which causes the taco to disintegrate. I know a taco is meant to be a little messy, but this made it a bit excessive. The Cochinita Pibil taco was much better in that regard and far easier to handle and consume. Overall, though, it was a tasty meal.

I never knew soft taco could taste so boring.... like stale flour...but the fillings taste good though.....Perhaps I'm not used to it. The fries however were amazing! Verdict: Try-able

Taco Lupita was an incredible experience! The entire restaurant was gluten-free, which is great if you have a gluten allergy. The food was absolutely fantastic—everything was made fresh to order. They even had a great deal on three tacos for $16.95. Kira, was incredibly friendly and helpful. She made sure we had everything we needed. They also have convenient bar style seating as well as tables in the building. These tacos are definitely some of the best in the city. If you’re in the area, Taco Lupita is a must-try!
