It's a solid 4, Service was good The food was just ok. I'd give the food 4 star but for the price it goes down to 3. Had steak, fish and gnocchi. Carrot cake was ok, one side was stale but other side was good. Latte was very good. Got chocolate half sweet was perfect.

It was not what I expected. The place was kind of grungy which I liked. The staff were fast and friendly. The food was amazing and the place was clean. I’ll be back.

Let me start off by saying I’ve been going to Symposium for years. It was always a fave dinner spot of ours. We haven’t been in a few months. I’m very disappointed with the changes to menu. They removed the steak sandwich, the chicken wings with fries (they still have wings but now you have to order a side of fries which is more expensive) and they removed the bite size desserts (brownie, apple crumble) you can buy the full size which is too much. The quality of the food has also declined. The wings small and overcooked. The chicken club sandwich was very dry. The fish and chips which have always been a fave were meh - fish over battered, greasy and they changed the fries to Costco type fries. Even the menu was falling apart. Service was very slow and server was lost. Prices were too expensive for the quality. Overall very sad to see the decline of Symposium.

The vibe just isn’t great anymore, it was alright 10 years ago but everything is now outdated! it felt a bit dated and lacked the warm, cozy atmosphere I was hoping for. The cleanliness was also disappointing; tables and floors could use more attention. The food and drinks were decent, but the overall experience didn’t quite meet the expectations. It's an okay spot for a quick meal, but there are definitely areas that need improvement to create a more inviting and enjoyable environment.

Went in for breakfast on a Thursday morning. They weren't that busy so service was really quick. Our server was really friendly. The meals are reasonably priced. And if you really wanna try something try the carrot cake. They serve really huge slices. I had 3 eggs breakfast meal. I didn't really like my hashbrowns although they were tasty, they were a bit on the hard side. They seem to have specials daily. I really wanna check out Thursdays Date night!!

Our server was a little slow in the beginning but that’s okay because he was young and made up for it fairly quick by keeping items frequently asked for on hand with no need to run back and forth to the kitchen. The food overall was good quality, just the sandwich bun was not really fit for the the california sandwich. It was not sturdy enough to compensate for the weight of the meat inside the sandwich. If they toasted the bun, maybe it would be easier to hold. The only downside was the beer being pretty flat… We have no other complaints. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area.

Came here later in the night for desserts. Seating was spacious with the right ambiance for a hangout and chat. Everything we tried was delicious but I particularly loved the Hummingbird cake and the Italian soda - it wasn’t too sweet and the soda was very refreshing. Decent service. Have not tried during day time for food but a decent spot for desserts!
