Symposium Cafe Restaurant Oakville

I had a burger and salad. The burger was very small and disappointing. My guest had the fish-and-chips, which looked very good and generous portion. There were only 2 other tables occupied, yet the service was astonishingly slow and hard to catch the waitress's attention. When coffee is served usually cream is provided and should not need to be asked for. I have been at other locations of this restaurant and the food and service were superior elsewhere.

A nice place to try! Recommend the Spiced Rubbed Chicken Salad… awesome! In the handhelds we tried the California Sandwich which is good but the portion is good for one only! Ordered the Tuscan tomato bean soup which is 3 on 5 ! My pineapple sunset salad looked amazing but i think the creamy dressing got replaced by a vinaigrette one!! Should have a couple of pineapple slices instead of one though! Loved the ambience and the music in the background ! Our server Divam was friendly and took good care of us!

I stopped in last night with my family to pick up some desserts after me out for the evening. We picked up three desserts to take out that cost us $38. My wife picked the brownie, and the person serving us told us MULTIPLE times to make sure we heat it up before we ate it. At the time we thought it was odd how many times she told us that but didn't think too much of it initially. Got home and my wife goes to have the brownie and it's rock hard. It was basically a brick and was beyond being eaten, even if it was heated up. The fact that the server told us multiple times to heat it up tells me she clearly knew that it was beyond It's freshness date and shouldn't have been sold but she went ahead and served/sold it to us anyways. That will be the last time we ever stop into this establishment knowing this is how they run what their now.

Nice ambience at Symposium Cafe Restaurant in Oakville Upper Middle Rd and third line. Tried chicken wings and it really tasted very good. Service is good and fast. It wasn't crowded on Wednesday night. Overall good food options with bar. Definitely recommend this place.

Extremely unhappy with the food. Coffee machine out of order for a few days now is what we were informed - my first disappointment when I ordered latte. The southwest fried chicken eggs Benedict - served with guacamole which seemed stale. Fried chicken was undercooked. Waffle and chicken - waffle was good but fried chicken undercooked. There are several brunch places offering similar menu but great taste. This place has good ambience and service but the main part which is the food did not impress us at all.

Visited several times. Good restaurant with various options in menu. - The Benedict breakfast is good. - The Pad Thai is not quite original. It is quite sweet and not spicy, in order to fit most people requirements. - Chicken Alfredo is average. It must be waited too long for the whole table order to be served. The disc is hot but the food is cold Service is good and attentive. But the waiting time of the food is quite long. The price is on average or just slightly above.
