We've been coming to this restaurant for a while because it's a great place for kids. And we've have Wendy as our server a few times I think. She's really friendly and nice to our kids. The food is pretty good, nothing too fancy but hits the spot and is consistent. And we'll probably keep coming here for a long time.

Swiss Chalet is always my number one go to. My husband and I decided to go to this location it was 9:10 when we called asking if the diner is open, we were told it was as long as we were on route. We arrived at 9:35 and were told it is not open only takeout is an option. We cut our losses and did takeout, the woman working was sour as a lemon. She made us feel like she was doing us a favor by doing her job. When I asked to use a coupon she told me I should've told her in advance and was trying to make me feel guilty for having her repunch it. She made it seem like a chore waiting for me to log into my scene account. The food is great but that was was extremely pushy and unpleasant.

Always crave for their rotisserie chicken, its so juicy and tender. Must go with their bread roll n coleslaw. My roommate likes their ribs just well cooked with the collagen comes off easily when tearing between bones. They were packed in these pretty festive boxes, lovely!!

Recently went and decided to dine in since the take out side was absolutely packed. Our booth seats were torn and the overall atmosphere has been the same for as long as I can remember. It is what it is. The food was decent, but my wife’s piece of chicken was pretty non existent and nowhere near the size it used to be or what it shows in the menu photo (both shown below). The only real highlight that evening was our server, Rebecca who was absolutely amazing despite being busy and running all over the place. She took care of us (and all her guests) with professionalism. She is a star! Thank you!

This location has been here forever and continues to be here. Modernized a bit, still cozy and comfortable. Gravy tastes a bit different, thicker, less watery, and tastes a bit ketchupy for some reason but other than that friendly service and hits the spot.

This is not cool at all….does this look cooked to you?so sad…😔😔😔 THIS IS AN UPDATE I returned the food back and was glad and happy that I got a new set of freshly made quarter leg meal and the fries was made fresh and the bun is not hard like rubber and the chicken this time was properly cooked.Im glad it was handled so well by the same girl I ordered the meal from the start.Thank you for the fast action and for taking care of my issue.Thank you and more power to you all.God bless .

Always ordered from this location and generally been very satisfactory - except today. The takeout dinner portion I received was extremely paltry, literally half size (as seen in the picture). Didn’t go back to lodge a complaint as I had taken it all the way home before opening it to see this disappointment.

I ordered takeout, and I have to say, their ribs are the best I’ve ever had in Toronto! The flavor was incredible, and the portion size was just right. I can’t wait to visit the restaurant in person to try more of their menu. I’m definitely bringing my friends next time! Their staff is so polite and nice as well :)
