Swiss Chalet

Our family had the worst experience at the Swiss Chalet on 4559 Hurontario Street in Mississauga. The service and food quality were absolutely unacceptable. • We waited over 20 minutes after being seated before anyone greeted us or took our drink orders, which then took another 20 minutes to arrive. • Our table had no cutlery, and when it was finally brought, it was handed to us on a plate to distribute ourselves. • The food was cold and undercooked. My son ordered the soup, and the pasta shells were just thrown in—they were hard and inedible. • Food was delivered in a scattered manner. One of our guests didn’t get her chicken pot pie until most of us had already finished eating. • The restaurant felt dirty, with tables left uncleared until new guests arrived. • The staff showed no urgency or care, and the overall atmosphere was chaotic and disorganized. This was by far the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone.

Had a great dining experience in swiss chalet. Tried sping roll and quessida seaser. Great ambience and service was excellent. Must try.

Came here for a late lunch with 3 others on Monday. I waited in the front to get seated for 10min (no hostess). Not sure if they were short-staffed on this particular day, but service was definitely lacking. My friend and I ordered the festive specials. Our server was friendly but felt like she was serving a lot of tables which may be why service was slower. I enjoy their Festive Specials: fries a little on the overcooked side but meal was good in general. I would probably go to another location just due to the service.

This restaurant is awesome :), sauce and cilantro tastes fantastic and much richer than most Swiss chalets I’ve been too , our Waitress Janice was great and very kind ! Definitely will come back

Me and my boyfriend went for an affordable lunch while we were in the area as Tuesdays for a limited time are 2 can dine. Janice was our server and was so sweet and her service was great. Food was great as well, as usual. We are two Swiss Chalet lovers and always enjoy!

The food quality was excellent—thank you to the chef! The atmosphere was also great—very clean and bright. However, the service was disappointing. Either Swiss Chalet needs to hire more staff, or Janice needs a break. We waited a long time to be seated, and if it weren’t for the “Wait to be Seated” sign, we would have walked in and seated ourselves. When Janice finally arrived, there was no smile or greeting, but I guess that’s not part of her job description, so I understand. Unfortunately, she also brought the wrong orders multiple times, from beginning to end. After a long wait for our entrées, she even got our dessert order wrong. It honestly felt like this place was a joke! Later, another staff member came out to clean the tables, and she was visibly chewing gum, which seemed very unprofessional. I bet if managers were around, they’d act differently, but who knows? It’s just a shame that this is the quality of service you get for what you pay these days.

Thanks for the amazing service for my birthday! Janice was an amazing server. Courteous and friendly. The food was amazing too. The ambiance in the restaurant was also welcoming.

A different experience 😀... excellent and different kinds of food and variety of taste. The atmosphere is very good..the service is the best ... All ways to attend with a smiley face...... The positive point of the Swiss chalet is the staff Janice . She is excellent server
