Swiss Chalet

This is the 2nd time we’ve ordered takeout from this location and they’ve never disappointed. Lately every restaurant we order food or drinks from (especially Tim Hortons)there is always a mistake, or several. Either orders are wrong or items we’ve paid for have not been included in our bags when we get home It was extremely refreshing to get exactly what we’ve ordered and in a timely manner. The fact that I am so shocked to have received exactly what I’ve paid for is a pretty sad state of affairs It looks like this all began during the pandemic. I can 100% say that this was only 1 of a handful of times since 2020 that my order was exactly right I definitely recommend this location for takeout

Me and my boyfriend had a great dinner at this location, first time ever going. Our waitress Emily was absolutely amazing, she was so kind, very personable and just an amazing human! 10/10 would come back to see Emily and receive her great service!!!! Thank you :)

I had a wonderful experience at this Swiss chalet location. I was greeted by the cashier Raj who made great recommendations on my order and she was very friendly. She deserves a pay raise. It was nice to come in hungry and leave happy. I would recommend this location any day.

Went for dinner, it wasn't too crowded but service was a bit slow. They have a new menu for the holidays. Food was good and server was friendly, good holiday meal deals.

We went to this Swiss Chalet location for dinner and the food was delicious! Our server Dorothy was very helpful and brought out our food in a reasonable time. Our only issue was that the dining room was chilly, but the fireplace definitely helped stay warm! Will definitely recommend this location! 😊

We visit this Swiss Chalet often for lunch or dinner, as it’s close to home. Dorothy, our server, practically runs the place. She’s efficient, attentive, and seems to manage everything with a calm, professional demeanour that makes each visit a pleasure. No matter how busy it gets, she never misses a beat, ensuring every table is well looked after. The food comes out fast, always hot, with generous portions. Whether you're after the famous rotisserie chicken or their delicious ribs, the meals are consistently hearty and satisfying. The prices are affordable, too, offering great value for the quality and portion sizes. The restaurant has a modern barn-style look—bright, clean, and welcoming, with a cozy feel. It’s a great spot for a hearty meal, whether you’re with family, friends, or dining solo, it never disappoints!

This is the second time this year that we have ordered pickup from this location via the Swiss Chalet app. The last time I completed a review through their Swiss Chalet Feedback site and this time I will be giving a review both here and the feedback site. I guess this location of Swiss Chalet is also taking part in shrinkflation. We ordered the two quarter chicken meal deal, chicken tender meal and appetizers. Our entire meal was a disappointment. The quarter chickens were small, they mixed up the sides for one of the quarter chicken meals and the chicken tender meal, the perogies used to come with a bigger container of Cajun dip for seven perogies and now the containers are so tiny; we ordered two orders of this appetizer and got two tiny dip containers, and the apple pie dessert was soo butchered that it looked like someone ate the top crust. My family members are not huge fans of the chalet sauce and prefer ketchup but for our entire meal we only got two packets of ketchup… it is ridiculous that the app doesn’t allow customers to order more than one ketchup packet so I guess I was lucky we got two for our meals. It would have been nice if the employee packing the order used better judgement and at least stuck more in the bag by looking at the size of the order. I can’t believe they expected two packets to cover two quarter chicken meals, chicken tenders, and fries… what a joke. The previous Hurontario location was so much better, this new location has been a big disappointment this year, when it first opened it was fine so don’t know what is going on here now.

The new look is more modern and airy. The server and manager were very pleasant. The perogies were good. The chicken as tasty as usual. However the fries were overcooked and mostly the little hard ends. Manager offered to replace but I didn't have time to wait of new order. Nice location with big take out section.
