Swiss Chalet

Came in for dinner with my family and we were served by one incredible server, Jayden! She gave us the perfect about of time to get settled at our table and followed to grab drinks immediately. She worked so hard to make sure our food came out promptly and that we received everything we needed to enjoy our meal! She was so kind and upbeat it made our experience fantastic! We will be back for her 100%, keep being amazing jayden!!

We stopped here during a road trip down the 401 and were relieved to find they were open on New Year's day. Everyone enjoyed their food and our server Tara was great. My daughter loved that the kids' menu has many choices. The prices at Swiss Chalet are of course higher than they used to be but still lower than at many other chains and the quality is just as good. We'll happily go back here again.

I came here with my family for dinner, I've always loved Swiss Chalet. The staff in this Swiss Chalet were the rudest I have ever encountered in a sit down restaurant. The initial wait at the front was for almost 10 minutes with no staff even walking by, (the restaurant was 1/3 full it was around 7pm) there was no politeness or normal restaurant etiquette, the staff were weirdly tense and unfriendly - once we did sit another 5 - 10 minutes before a server came, didn't say hello just immediately with an impatient tone "what can I get you" - the experience was overall uncomfortable. We were about 30 seconds from walking out before the food arrived.. but it arrived and it was actually half decent Swiss Chalet hence the 3 stars on food. I don't normally post negative reviews but I hope this can deter other people from having the same bad experience here that we had.

The food was decent, but the service was horrible! They gave me the festive, but no festive stuff with it! RIDICULOUS. I ordered mini donuts, with Oreo sprinkles, but they came plain! And It took 45 minutes just for the donuts. The bill took forever. I should just leave 1 star whatsoever. Other Swiss Chalets are great, but this one sucks.

Update: Judging by the blanket statement response from the restaurant below and lack of an actual apology, I’m not interested in following up further. You have the review, so learn to train your staff properly. You know what time frame and date I arrived, so check your cameras. Hiring lazy, entitled and rude staff won’t do your highly disorganized location any favors. If the staff acts in such a way, it speaks to how management runs the place. After reading further reviews for your location, I now understand why it’s doing so poorly. Original review: Absolutely awful service tonight, we left before being served because of the amount of time it took to actually even get noticed by a waitress. We were seated by a blonde hostess and were ignored by the black waitress who was only concerned with clearing tables and settling bills. When we got up and said we were leaving another blonde employee gave us complete attitude when we said why. I asked the hostess for the rude employees name and she said she didn’t know. There seemed to be unlimited employees clearing tables but only one waitress taking orders and settling bills.

My favorite restaurant im so glad they brought back the Garlic Cheese Loaf and Burger! I would like to see the side of fries for adult meals come with a little more fries! Seems like a children's size portion of fries.

This is what you call white chicken & bbq ribs?? I asked if a staff member was working, my hubby said something in the background and I said, it could explain the lack of care, cause she dated your son! The manager got upset at this and said, don’t slander my staff” umm what? I actually think she’s the only competent staff member there, as my food is always wrong, unless she had prepared it in the past. Anyhow, with that being said, the food was disgusting, I didn’t eat! my son’s bun looked like it had a bite out of it. Seems it’s always wrong when we order here. Never again! Jeanie the manager is also extremely rude! $85 for food we are throwing in the garbage.

***Updated*** I received an email and follow up from my original post below from the manager at this location Jeanine. She apologized for the portion size and advised they always try to have a perfect ratio and was very apologetic. She offered me a credit for me to use when I was ready - one month later Jeanine is true to her word and I had a hot, steaming, and much bigger dark quarter chicken waiting for me this Friday night, served by her with a warm smile and genuine gratitude and apology. Thank you for having such amazing customer service. Can't believe my quarter leg is smaller than the bun and the workers proceeded to leave it that way. So disappointed
