Best Jamaican Food in Brampton, hands down no question. But service isn’t the best, unless you get the owner. All the food here is incredibly good and tasteful and I definitely visit sweet spice when in Brampton.

I have tried a number of Jamaican restaurants in Brampton, mainly for breakfast. The combination of taste, quantity and price is unmatched. Their portions are the best by far. Now they are my go breakfast spot.

The salt fish fritters and the soursop juice were my favorite parts of what I had here. The servers were patient and kind enough. The portion sizes were ample. I was I little let down by the flavors when it came to the rice and oxtail ngl.

I think they had an off day, because the last time I got jerk chicken it wasn’t this dry. I usually only leave a review if I’ve had the same thing twice.

I ordered a medium ackee & saltfish and fry dumplings. The meal also came with porridge Which was a nice surprise I never tried it before. Overall everything was really good and the portion was big I had to double check if it was a medium. Would definitely recommend!

Wednesday was my first visit to Sweet Spice. The service was wonderful and friendly! The food was amazing!!! I ordered oxtail, rice & peas, red snapper and coleslaw. It was all absolutely delicious! Sweet Spice has a new regular customer in me for sure!

I decided to visit this place after seeing it on TikTok, and while my experience was okay, there were aspects that could be improved. Both the curry goat and the fried snapper lacked the depth of flavor and the robust spice profile I was hoping for. The dishes were well-presented, but they didn't quite hit the mark in terms of taste. There's clear potential here, and the ambiance and service were commendable. However, for my palate, it didn't fully deliver. I believe with some tweaks to the seasoning and perhaps a bolder use of spices, this place could really shine.

Wow oxtail was amazing, tender, lots of flavor. Got the large oxtail was $18 taxes in - fair price. Portion was good they put the oxtail not on the rice which I like because the container carried alot of gravy!
