I recently visited this restaurant with my friends, and we had the most amazing experience! The server was exceptional—so polite and attentive, making us feel truly welcome. The food was absolutely incredible, and I have to applaud the chef's skills—everything was cooked to perfection. We ordered the cheese kulcha, fire kulcha, bhindi do pyaza, and paneer, and every dish was bursting with flavor. It was a delightful culinary experience that exceeded all our expectations. This place is perfect for a get-together with friends or family. Highly recommend, and we can't wait to visit again!

Now named SPICY CHICKEN!!! Real Jamaican restaurant. My family went to visit Canada, and we were referred here. The lady at the front (wifey) greeted us with a smile. She was professional and knew her menu. We asked for suggestions and she could offer. We'll done. The place smelt freah, and it was clean. The table was clean. No loud music. The atmosphere was just right. You are given attention once you enter the place. The prices are competitive, see brochure attached. There is even a section for what appears to be accommodation for large parties who want to dine in. The soup was awesome. It was hot and tasted very good. We eventually bought extras for home... lol, we had bbq wings and rice and chicken tenders. Everything was great. They explained the various options and worked with my budget and what we wanted. We sure did. I like the fact that the wife is in charge... you go, my queen!!! The husband is the chef... food tasted great!!! This couple makes a great team. There is lots of parking and it is right with a gas station. How convenient is that. Thanks for everything as you realise my mom would kill me if she didn't get the soup. All the best.

Nestled in a bustling area where finding a good meal often comes with the additional challenge of paid parking, Swagat stands out as a hidden gem for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine without the extra hassle. My recent visit to this delightful eatery was nothing short of extraordinary, leaving me thoroughly impressed from start to finish. The experience began with a pleasant surprise: free parking. Given the location, where nearly every other establishment charges for parking, this was a welcome relief. It set the tone for what would be a memorable dining experience. As I stepped inside, the warm ambiance immediately put me at ease. The decor, with its subtle nods to Indian culture, created a cozy yet vibrant atmosphere that was perfect for both casual meals and special occasions. The staff were welcoming and attentive, making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout our visit. We started our meal with the samosas, and they were simply divine. Crisp on the outside and filled with a perfectly spiced potato mixture, they were a fantastic introduction to what Swagat had to offer. Each bite was a delightful blend of flavors, with just the right amount of heat. For the main course, we opted for Jeera Rice and Dal Fry. The Jeera Rice was beautifully cooked, with each grain perfectly separated and infused with the earthy aroma of cumin. It paired wonderfully with the Dal Fry, which was a standout dish in its own right. The lentils were cooked to perfection, creamy and rich, with a depth of flavor that spoke of slow-cooking and a careful balance of spices. The garlic and cumin tempering added a delightful burst of flavor, making this simple dish one of the highlights of the meal. And then, there was the tea. A meal at an Indian restaurant wouldn’t be complete without a good cup of chai, and Swagat did not disappoint. The tea was aromatic, perfectly brewed, and had just the right balance of sweetness and spice. It was the perfect end to a delicious meal. In conclusion, Swagat exceeded all my expectations. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and the free parking was an added bonus that made the entire experience even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a place that offers authentic Indian flavors in a welcoming setting, Swagat is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be returning to sample more of their menu!

Ordered Kadai, butter chicken, lamb vindaloo, rotti, and nan. Later, we cancelled the Kadai due to some issues and was offered one of the side dishes free due to the raised complaint. Also, the dishes are bit pricey.

Expect the food to be expensive since it’s near Niagara! The taste is good, with the butter and garlic naans being a must try- very soft and fresh. However, the service is incredibly slow, as we waited 40 minutes. The ambience is pleasant but somewhat cramped makes it feel too small & congested.

We really enjoyed the food at Swaagat. Service was amazing - everyone was so kind and welcoming. Best garlic naan, I’ve ever had so soft, buttery, and crisp. A great selection of dishes.

Not really a great place. Quite overpriced. All the curries had similar tastes with different main item. It seems like the chef is using the same sauce for all the curries . We were surprised to see the quantities of the food for the price and upon talking to our sever she said it’s a tourist spot . Like wow . I really think they need to work on their quantities as as possible if they intend to charge this price . No doubt the tandoori breads were great .We went there by reviews but they really do not justify any of the claims made.
