This was my second visit in a month. Small cozy place with Excellent authentic south indian Food. Plain Dosa - 10/10 perfectly made in ghee, MUST TRY Idli combo - 10/10 MUST TRY Vada combo - 10/10 Masala Puri combo - 9/10 Mysoor Malasa Dosa - 10/10 if you are looking for spicy Rava Masala Dosa - Only have it if you like too much black pepper. Staff is excellent, all ladies are fabulous and fast in service. Special mention for Hari krishna fast and very efficient ONE OF THE BEST PLACE FOR AUTHENTIC SOUTH INDIAN FOOD ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Horrible experience!! Tasteless food full of oil, totally wastage of your money 😒 Will not recommend, and for sure not going back again! Also, the worst part was quantity of sambhar, and they charge extra for extra sambhar which is not even charged by big restaurants now, even they offer extra sambhar at no cost 🙄😑

I loved the plain dosa with extra ghee. Their coconut chutney and sambar were really tasty. The cost is less and affordable and the food was delicious. I would say it’s one of the best I have had here in Toronto.

Tried idli, cheese masala dosa, masala dosa, Mysore masala dosa, the taste was authentic. Highly recommended for dosa cravings. They accept payments via debit, cash or interac. No Credit Card. Very humble staff

This is hands down the best South Indian food I have had outside India. We ordered the podi idli fry, rawa dosa, idli plate, filter coffee and medu Vada. Every dish was made with perfection. The sambar and chutney were exceptional. I really want to thank the Chefs at Suvvai for giving us the best authentic South Indian meal. I was truly missing this!!

They were out of idli when we arrived on Saturday morning. No biggie because we ordered dosas and all were delicious. They have a few tables but also do takeout. One guy took our order and also cleaned our table. He calls you to pick up your order when it's ready so pay attention as he's a one-man show. Place is clean. They offer water in big silver teapots. Highly recommend this place.

I stumbled upon SUVVAI, a fantastic South Indian restaurant, and I'm so glad I did! They offer an Idli Vada Sambhar Combo with 2 Idlis, 2 Vadas, Sambhar, and Chutney for just $7. There are also more affordable options if you prefer a smaller meal. The place may be small, but the service is excellent, and the food tastes fantastic. It's great value for money, unlike other places that charge a lot and skimp on the sambhar. I can't wait to try their dosa and other dishes next time. I highly recommend it, and I will be back!

Not an ideal dine in location - but, the idlies and vada can compete with what I'd rank as the best restaurant in Toronto GTA (Nilgiris) (specific to how properly the idlies and vada are made - batter composition being the main reason). Took my dad and we enjoyed "malli-pu" idly (as soft as jasmine flower), vada, Pongal and Mysore masala dosa. We dined in at a randomly arranged 3-4 table setting. Ambiance or dine in is not what you look for when you come here. True to their name - Suvvai meaning taste, their idly, chutney, sambhar, vada, Mysore masala dosa were all excellent. As a fact, I grew up eating idlies almost every day that I abhor it at restaurants - unless it's made at home or until I went to Suvvai, it's ordered from Nilgiris. Glad I stumbled upon this restaurant. Along with Nilgiris, Suvvai is now a top recommendation for authentic idlies / dosa's. Update, almost a year since my previous review. My rating remains unchanged, as Google doesn't allow a 6 star review 😁 I've taken numerous friends and family here, if in the mood for the ever reliable idlis, dosas, or other standard South Indian food items. Taste and quality remains unblemished and my hope is that the owners find a way to open another branch in Mississauga!
