Sushi Zuki

Living in Ottawa, our sense of sushi value is incredibly skewed by high prices, small portions, and low quality. Refreshing to eat food from a place that values quality and service. Sushi Zuki has amazing portion sizes, value and quality... immediately evident.. from sharing a $40 nigiri boat that the two of us couldn't finish. Nothing spectacular but absolutely worthwhile if you want to eat well for a reasonable price 🍣🍣🍣 🙏🏽

The place is super nice with excellent service. The miso soup was delicious. I’m allergic to white fish, so they replaced it with more salmon for my sushi 🫶🏻. Everything was delicious, but I felt the rolls could be a bit more flavorful.

I’ve been ordering takeout trays at Zuki for years and this never happened before. But tonight we ordered 6 $2 salmon sashimi pieces and found a bug on one of the salmon. We had to throw everything out, very very unsatisfied.

We were craving good sushi and Sushu Zuki nailed it. The sushi quality, texture, and freshness were awesome in the Sushi Zuki Boat (12 sashimi, 6 pcs sushi, 8 pcs California roll, 8 pcs Spicy Salmon roll). Each sashimi piece is a good chunky size that is smooth and melts in your mouth. The sushi pieces, California roll and Spicy Salmon roll were perfectly made…they were so good. The tempura set (shrimp, sweet potato and potato) was delicious. Each tempura was perfectly made with crispiness in each bite. The tuna tataki was really good. The tuna was so fresh and the sauce just enhanced the flavour. The seafood soup udon was awesome. The soup base was so flavourful and filled with umami. It reminded me of a really good hearty bone broth soup. There was a good amount of seafood which was delicious. The udon was nice and chewy, just perfectly cooked.

Very good Japanese food. Everything tastes really fresh, the rice, the salmon, shrimps and avocado… It was all amazing. On top of that, it was surprisingly not expensive at all, and for very good portions. I would add that service was a bit slow, but sincerely the food was worth the wait. We had a great time, thank you!

Last night I chose Sushi Zuki to hang out with my friend, I think it is one of the best sushi places in Toronto. Excellent and delicious, unique and kind staff, excellent food quality and very reasonable price.

Fantastic sushi with many of options. California rolls taste great. Portion sizes are good and prices are fair. Also, the space is tidy. Strongly recommended.

Affordable sushi spot that gives huge portions. The sushi rolls were massive compared to any other places I’ve been to. The rolls were tasty and had more filling than rice to ratio. The sashimi pieces tasted fresh but I did wish they were cut thinner. The restaurant is quite small and would only be suitable for groups of 2-6. Overall I definitely recommend and will be going back
