The best dining experience I’ve had in a very long time. The fish was so fresh and there were so many bites that left me speechless. The entire experience was amazing and I would go back for the next special occasion. Even though it has a price tag of $275/person, I would still say it is worth every penny.

I had come for dinner with my fiancée at Sushi Yugen for my birthday! We had an amazing time trying unique sushi rolls that had such wonderful flavours and great presentation. The staff were incredibly attendant and professional and the chef we had was very kind and took time to explain to us. Thank you for the great experience and look forward to one day trying the more expensive option!

An outstanding omakase experience! The atmosphere was elegant and inviting, perfect for a lunch. The fish was incredibly fresh, and every dish was beautifully crafted. Excellent value for the quality offered, making it a great choice for sushi lovers. The chef and staff were attentive, enhancing the overall experience!

Great sushi. I immediately felt it was fresh. Each dish is very unique and interesting. My favorite was the white fish truffle. It was an appetizer, and it surely did its job. Seriously, almost every piece was great, except the silver skin fish, which was a bit fishy for my taste. Friendly staff and a nice talk with the chef. (Some shy people might not agree with me tho.)

Came here for omakase because it is close to my office, and I could come over after work easily. Overall, the fishes were fresh and the service was good. I have the dinner $98 + $5 green tea + sake flight If you are living or working in downtown, not bad to try.

Came here for a lunch and it was one of the most enjoyable and fresh omakase experiences in the city. The atmosphere was very cozy and intimate and the service was wonderful. The chef was very knowledgeable and had great attention to details. For the price it was a great deal for the experience. The only issue was there are no options for add ons for the lunch service. I will be returning soon! 10/10! Scrumptious!!

Maybe it’s a long travel for me to downtown, so it was just an ok experience. I am not saying it’s bad, sushi is in similar good quality you will get in other restaurants that offer omakase in uptown with similar pricing but I don’t need to travel as far. 😅 The fish do taste fresh and sushi is good. The sushi chef is friendly and they are accommodating with my allergies. The service staffs are polite and refill the tea often (tea cost $5). It seems seating must be reserved in advanced with particular timeslot so I wasn’t expecting to get seated about 10 min later than the reserved time. Not a big deal but not adding positive experience as well. Overall, the experience is still a positive one even though the env can get very loud when I was there.

Sushi Yugen was a lovely experience. The team have built a great restaurant and the chef's do incredible work. Quality of the food is amazing, and the service is so attentive. It's a small intimate space that took me back to being in Japan. Must visit for those looking for a top tier dining experience
