White fish and tuna sashimi smells bad and tastes old. I was afraid of eating those and getting sick. Nigiri sushi and California rolls are fine. Salad is fresh.

Awesome find in beautiful downtown Milton. Free street parking nearby. Cozy & authentic space, salmon was super fresh and absolutely delicious. I had the “all -salmon” lunch special for $25 which included tasty miso soup and a small salad. A+ service. Thanks!

Very fast service! We came for a late lunch/early dinner and were the only ones in the restaurant when we arrived. The server was very polite and super quick—this has to be one of the fastest times our food was prepared and served, which was perfect because we didn't have much time! The sushi was delicious, we appreciated the rolls did not have too much rice!

I would say the best sushis in Milton. Love this place. Nice patio in the summer, cozy atmosphere inside. Friendly staff. Tasty food and affordable prices. The Bento Box is always a safe bet.

This is a small place, but a perfect place for a casual date or a family meal. They have a cute patio and the service is very fast. The staff is extremely friendly and they recommended the torched sushi. It was really good. I don’t remember the name of it but I have attached pictures. Highly recommend 🥰

The quality is definitely superior to AYCE and the price reflects that. It’s not great for large groups inside but the outside patio can accommodate it. Inside, 4 people can sit comfortably. Service is fast. Presentation is good. They refill water diligently. My only feedback is I hadn’t even finished chewing my last bite that the server came and asked to take my plate away and bring the bill. Like I was still chewing my food while paying. Give me a minute!

I had the pleasure of discovering Sushi-YA, a delightful Japanese sushi restaurant nestled in the heart of downtown Milton. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the friendly staff and immediately felt at ease in the clean and inviting atmosphere. The sushi surpassed all of my expectations - each piece was made with fresh, high-quality ingredients that truly highlighted the skill and expertise of the chefs. I found myself savoring every bite, and I can confidently say that it was some of the best sushi I have ever tasted. I am already looking forward to my next visit to Sushi-YA, as this experience has left a lasting impression on me.

Cozy and tiny sushi place in downtown Milton. Food was well prepared and served. Flavour very tasty, and prices were very good. Would love to go back and try more. Recommended!
