Great sushi spot! The service was great, and the food was even better. The sashimi was some of the freshest and their seaweed is easily the best in the city.

Got a takeaway today, and Imagine my surprise when I opened it and couldn’t find Philadelphia. Turns out it was there, just without a salmon coat. This is the first time I see that version, and I double checked on their website for how it should look like. Other rolls were ok. Please let me know why that happened.

Incredibly fresh fish, everything tastes delicious, and the service is warm and friendly. It's marginally pricier than many chain sushi places, but the quality is really outstanding.

I had the best local sushi dining experience here yesterday. Right by Greenwood Park and accessible by streetcar and bus. Fish was incredibly fresh. We got the sushi platter for two and the tuna tataki. Highly recommend these nigiri. The butterfish and yellowtail were some of the best I've ever had in Toronto. The unagi was meaty and flavourful and the squid was very interesting! The ponzu on the tataki was delightfully citrusy too. Even the California roll had some toasted sesame seeds for a little nice touch. Would love to try more of their torched sushi. Will be a regular here now (: What a lovely local gem!

tldr; well worth the price for a perfect meal! After reading the positive reviews for Sushi on Gerrard, we decided to give it a try with UberEats. We were extremely impressed with the presentation of the love boat for two that was delivered and the salmon skin roll and saba along with it. We actually requested for unique nigiri and sashimi in the loveboat and they accommodated our request! Everything was thickly sliced and very fresh. The soup and salad (with a sesame dressing) were delicious as well. The portion is well worth the price and the quality of each item we ordered was flawless. Please support this restaurant as I'm sure they will put a lot of care for your meal as they did with ours! c;
