Ordered 2 sets of the “party for 10” platters, and was very satisfied with quality and portions. Staff were very helpful and friendly despite me making this order with only a few hours notice. Everyone at my party enjoyed and we had a lot more food than I expected. Great price, good service, good taste- would highly recommend Sushi on Bloor for your catering needs!

I’ve now been to Sushi on Bloor three times. Having had a variety of their dishes I feel qualified to say that they serve some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. Their salmon has always been fresh, the rolls are tight, and the rice is fresh. Bento boxes have been affordable and delicious as well. Pricing is good when you go for a-la-carte but not ridiculous if you choose a pre-curated combo. It should go without saying that I highly recommend Sushi on Bloor!

Delighted with the delicious Bento Box I shared with my dinner companion. The meal also included miso soup and ice cream for dessert. The service was very warm and we were well taken care of. This was my second visit and it was quieter than the first time I tried this restaurant. That first time, we were a group of 5 and even though it was very busy, they seated us quickly. Highly recommend!

I got the dinner for 1. The salad and miso soup were great. Tempura shrimp was perfectly cooked, and all the veg was fantastic. Plantain was a cool and unexpected addition. Sweet potato, zuch, broccoli, and squash were all great. Scallion was a nice touch in the spicy salmon maki but they could have used more spicy mayo imo - I got some on the side and it was really nice (and actually kinda spicy). The maki are B I G which is not my favorite but that’s just my preference. The tuna, whitefish, and salmon sushi were all fantastic, w the tuna being my favorite. I’m usually more of a salmon and maki fan, but the tuna sushi stole the show today. Ebi sushi was good but not really my thing so 🤷. Dinner for one is a biiiig serving size. I was very full. Service was amazing, I was seated instantly and given miso soup within a minute. I was eating after sitting for less than 10 minutes I’d say.

Delicious sushi, reasonable prices. Their fish is SO FRESH. It tastes amazing, honestly I'd get the sashimi because their plain fish is just so fresh. I got the Bloor St Roll. It was okay. Get something with lots of sashimi on it! They gave us ice cream on the house too, which was very kind of them. Interior is normal, nothing special. Food is good though. It's not that cheap anymore, used to be.

Prices have gone up but this place still offers good value. I regularly order the supreme bento. I walked away full and with 5 of the California rolls in my backpack to be eaten later.

The best sushi in town with the most delicious Ginger wasabi Roll. The Makimono set is the best 18 pcs set of spicy salmon and tuna roll which comes with a nice salad. The best part is also the free ice cream at the end with Mango taste. The staff is very friendly and nice. The only improvement that the place needs is washroom which if renovated and quality improved would make the place perfect.

Follow @bredgyeats for more food photos! Overall, good quality sushi and other japanese food. Tempura and simple sushi rolls are served in this other spot for those eating on a budget, as their lunch specials live up to their names.
