I started going here when I lived in North York in 2010 until 2021. The quality has diminished greatly. Last 2 times, the fish was barely acceptable. Last week this chirashi had a leftover piece of sushi thrown in. I couldn't believe it. I loved their chirashi even a few years ago. But now...

North worth $70. Miso soup is super salty, it doesn’t even taste like miso soup, it tastes like someone just pour a punch of soy sauce. The salad dressing is not tasty. The sashimi is ok but overall it doesn’t worth the money🫤

First of all, you get unbelievable value for your money for the portions alone, with a plethora of nigiri and maki rolls to entertain your mouth. The maki rolls are filled generously with a perfect layer of marinated sushi rice, like an upgraded California roll. Then, the quality of the ingredients are top notch, like it was caught and shipped the same day straight into my mouth. The salmon had a beautiful marbling that melts in your mouth and is the freshest piece of fish I've ever put in my mouth.

My favourite takeout sushi in GTA! I come here at least twice a month. I always get the Sushi bong special and the black dragon roll. Salmon is so fresh and fatty. All the rolls are incredibly delicious. Owners are very kind and have given us free fried salmon or free rolls to try.

I found Sushi Bong via Uber Eats app. I ordered the small party combo and an extra dynamic roll. The sashimi didn't taste fresh and felt like they were frozen right before they served my order. The sushi quality was mediocre compared to other sushi shops nearby, the rice was hard and the salmon didn't taste fresh. Also, the dynamic roll didn't get cut properly, each piece was very big like double the normal size if it was cut properly.

The sushi rolls are simple (no sauce drizzled on top) but its really good for the price! This place definitely satisfied my sushi cravings. My favourite was the Spicy Salmon Roll, it had a good fish:rice ratio Note: they don't accept credit card
