The food is *chefs kiss* good! The Mexican street corn is definitely a favourite paired with guac and some tacos. Great for a date night! They are so nice that they will let you harvest some of the spider plant babies to bring home too 😉

Great date night spot No reservations on Friday for parties of 2, we got there maybe at 615 and within 10 minutes you had to wait for a seat, plan accordingly!!! Great portion, just the right amount of food to fill you up lol The street corn, fish taco, and carnitas were all bangers, 10/10 would recommend

Fantastic dinner with some friends. Great decor and atmosphere. Friendly and prompt service. Lovely patio in the back. Great for parties of 1-4 and could probably accommodate more. Loved that they had a feature cocktail and taco. Both were delicious. As were the birra tacos, nachos, and churros!! Really enjoyed the hot sauce - a little sweet with a good zing! Churros were crisp and seasoned to perfection! Pretty on market for price for elevated tacos but generous portions. Would come again, even for just churros!!

Went last night for the first time and I'll definitely be back! Food is delicious! Drinks are a bit pricey for what you're getting, they were lacking a bit for me but the food, atmosphere and service made up for it

Made a reservation on a busy Friday night and got to enjoy two really delicious shareable. Right at the heart of Whitby downtown, Surf has a great atmosphere and even better vibe . Small menu but perfect blend of flavourful dishes to compensate . I’ll be going here a lot in the summer :)

Have been meaning to try this place for over a year. Finally got the chance. Surf serves Mexican and South Cali type of food. The menu is simple and the food tastes great. They also offer a variety of specialty drinks. It’s a cozy place, make sure to make reservations. The only negative is this place can be a bit pricey. Check it out for yourself.

Lindsay was our server. Came here for the food and atmosphere as a result of the good reviews. Indeed we were not disappointed. The restaurant had fun decor and the food was great. We had fuax, street corn, mock tails, tacos and the dessert. Lindsay was very friendly and helpful, such that I thought she was the owner due to her passion. We can't wait to be back.
