Solid addition to the rotation. Got the 3 meat on rice with Broccoli, and I think it was fair value relative to the surrounding area. In comparison, I tired the place next door and the quality wasn’t as good. Soy chicken BBQ Duck BBQ Pork If I had one critique… I wish the guy cutting the meat was wearing a glove when handling the meat (no Diddy). That’s one element of seasoning I can do without. That said, I’ll be make to get food from the gloveless meat handler.

Elevated versions of Cantonese favorites. Wonderful service and great flavour. Definitely a gem on the east end for comfort food.

Good location, good price and nice people. Dishes are authentic. Tofu marinated with soy bean source is very delicious. The BBQ dish could be better if it was not a cold one.

Take out order with fresh roast pork and soya chicken, and wonton soup. Everything was perfect, servings arrived hot and portions were healthy. I will definitely try something else next time.

This is one of my favourite Chinese restaurants in Toronto. I've ordered take out from here and I've also dined in. The food here always tastes fresh and delicious. The prices are fair and the portions are generous. The staff are very friendly, going above and beyond average servers. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Best rice noodle beef I had for a while. Also the bbq duck and chicken and rice is awesome. I gave it a lower rating than the 5 stars I initially put for one reason: On one visit, I took the stairs to the toilet and it was so dirty, never seen such dirty stairs in any restaurant I have been to. This made me feel sick, if the stairs are like this, I cant even imagine what could the state of the kitchen be. I won't be going there again, which is a shame because the food was the best taste wise.

One of the best meals I’ve had in a while. My son opted for Chinese bbq and after reading a few reviews we ended in here. It’s funny how these guys are right next to another bbq place next door. When we got there we almost went to the wrong place. As I looked, the other place looked way more appealing. But after thinking it through, I compared the reviews on line and it totally made sense, the other shop had a lot of good looking product in the window. Why? No one is buying it, that’s why. So without any further discussion we went in and ordered what I would say is one of the best meals ever. My son said “best roasted pork he’s ever had”. I ate the free range chicken and it was the best I’ve had as well. Really hard to argue with that. Added a seafood chow mien on top of it and you’ve got yourself a fantastic 3 course meal. Try it out. What’s notable is that the 2 best Chinese meals I’ve had are almost on the same block. This is not the main Chinatown but a smaller one, but apparently the better food choice.

As dining out gets more and more expensive, it is always such a win when I find great food at a great price. At Supreme Taste on Broadview just south of Gerrard you’ll find an authentic Chinese restaurant with dishes priced lower than most. It is a traditional Chinese BBQ house. I ordered Shrimp Fried Rice ($13.95). It normally comes with a disk of scrambled egg on top but I requested mine sunny side up which arrived perfectly fried. The small to medium-sized shrimp were abundant. Fried rice here is Hong Kong style meaning it’s light on soy and has bits of scrambled egg throughout. Each bite with runny yolk, shrimp, and a generous helping of scallions, is the perfect bite. This serving is huge and more than enough for one person if it’s all you order. Customer service is top notch; staff and owners are knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. Decor is very typically Chinese: a few Fortune Kitties (Fat Toy Mew) at the back, fluorescent lighting, and tables and chairs. All very basic, all the more to showcase the truly outstanding cuisine. Huge bang for buck.
