Super Burgers & Fries

I honestly cannot understand these one-star reviews. This my partners favourite place as they serve impossible patties so I have eaten here 10 plus times but it is actually VERY good and consistent. Beef tallow fries are so yum (only one time they were a little soggy), great grass-fed smash burger, fresh veg, good buns and sauces plus the shakes are delicious too! It’s fair value for the cost and they do not have a default 50% tipping option, I do not know what that guy is talking about. We have always had pleasant service and will continue to eat here probably forever - any time I ask my partner, “where do you want to eat?” it’s always “SUPER BURGER!!”, I swear he whispers it in my ear while I sleep hahhaha Thanks for doing a great job guys!

We tried the super burger, a spectacular burger with an excellent pickle sauce. The smash is cooked well, with a crispy edge and the fries are quite good, I would have liked to try the ones have pickles, It will be next time!

I got the #1. The service was not good. The default tipping option was 50%. There was an obvious tension between the girl cooking and the girl taking orders which saw many huffs and puffs along with eye rolls when the other’s back was turned. The food was fine, nothing special but I paid restaurant prices so I was expecting something better than BK quality. The music was way too loud. I eat alone on lunch, I want to listen to my headphones not be forced to listen to a maroon 5 live album. This remains the only fast food style burger in the DT Core but as soon as a McDonald’s or Wendy’s opens close by this place will struggle. Fantastic location. Edit on Nov 18. Responding to the owner. To be fully transparent, the catalyst for the review was the 50% default tip option. I paid over $30 for this meal. The other restaurants you mentioned allow for the customer to leave a tip when their meal is finished. Furthermore, it is pretty standard practice to default prompt for between 20 and 30% when tipping on a machine. So when you mention these menu prices you are being very misleading and disingenuous because a customer will pay more than the menu price and in the case of super burger it is 50 perfect. I love supporting local businesses. But when I pay a 50% service fee for almost non existent service (I had to walk over to pick up my meal) I must warn others before being tricked like I was. Let me know if the tipping option changes and I will gladly come back to try a burger again. But right now it’s just not worth over $30.

Best burgers in St. Catharines for sure! We’ve tried a bunch of burger places and these are definitely top 5, plus they are consistent. The only thing I haven’t enjoyed so far are the pickles, too “pickly”! The place is really nice and they are really friendly!

As good as it looks. Good vibes with the crew and music. Open kitchen is fun. The burgers are delicious and their fries hit the spot. Upgrade to cali fries was a great decision as well. Fun take on a poutine / fry supreme. Flavour is worth the price, with a combo / upgrades about $20 each. Always loved the branding and design style, and the food hits the spot. We’ll be back and with friends!

Amazing burgers and fantastic fries. Staff are very friendly and fast with your order. The milkshakes here are so smooth and thick. Prices are okay. Clean facility. Patio available. The restaurant can convert into an open air concept. Good selection of tap and canned alcoholic beverages. No credit card surcharge. Would like to see a larger serving of fries. No WiFi. Paid street parking out front. Paid garage and lot parking across the street. These lots and meters are free after 6PM on weekdays. Free all day Saturday and Sunday. All lots and garage parking may be subject to events parking rates any day or time. Keep an eye out for parking attendants. No vegetarian options seen. No kids menu seen. One must take a step into the restaurant or onto the patio.

The fries and milkshakes were 10/10. Like both worth going back for. Burgers were done properly and really yummy, but fairly thin/small even for a smash burger. So this makes the higher price seem a little steep. However they are a new local option so we weren’t bothered. Service was fairly quick. Fun, clean and simple atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and will return!
