Sunset Grill

The owner was exceptional and very accommodating. Hosted my sons birthday we were a large group of 28 ppl and took care of everyone and everything. Food was fresh and portion sizes were big and the stacked birthday pancakes for my son was perfect. No complaints and the place wss was clean food was great staff was friendly. This will be our family's new breakfast go to.

The restaurant is bright and cheery inside. Service was friendly and efficient. Server came by multiple times to refill water and coffee. The food was well prepared. Eggs done exactly to order, sausages not too greasy and bacon was nice and crispy. Plenty of parking.

Waffles were very good, soft, fluffy & tasty. Pancakes were dry and average tasting. Egg sandwich was fine. Coffee average. Was quiet busy inside. In overall average food, average service.

Very friendly place with great service and food. The price is very good as well. We had eggs benedict … taste. I would recommend this place.

Update: I was disappointed for my brunch today. I ordered a plate (forgot the name) for $16.49 but it only comes with 2 eggs spinach bread and potatoes with the sauce. The eggs were too liquidly. The sauce has little favor. My friend had an avocado plate and it just quite plain as well. I think it’s not a good value. It really degrades my expectations of this restaurant. Friendly service, very nice egg Benedict, it is one of my favorites. The price is good.

I don't know why I do this to myself but Sunset Grill is not a good breakfast place. I’ve ordered and dined from other locations before and the experience is always the same. Their pancakes honestly taste like eggo frozen pancakes. I could’ve saved nine dollars and gone to wal mart and bought a box for $2.99. When I dined in on Wednesday, I saw the sign on the outside window stated that they had a breakfast deal for $4.99. when inside, another sign stated “starting at $4.99”. that’s how they get you. Their basic breakfast deal is just eggs, toast and home fries. Once you start adding pancakes, bacon or sausage, the prices and meal options changed. I asked my server about other options because I don’t eat eggs and it became a confusing task. Her option was just to order the kids pancakes and then add a side order or bacon or sausage which would’ve costed way more than their breakfast deal if I just got it with eggs. Long story short, I got pancakes, bacon and home fries, but still paid the price as if I had it with eggs. If you’re looking for a great breakfast experience, I would suggest Cora’s or Perkins. At this point you might as well slum it and go to denny’s and get a better deal.

I came in with my son early today and the food was great. Our server was also great who offered me a coffee to go, what a nice touch. She is great with kids too, my son loved her. The chocolate pancakes are to die for! Will be back lots!

Excellent service. Good prices! I had the 3 egg breakfast with no meat and it was as expected. The coffee was really good. Weekday mornings there is a special that is only $4.99. It's super close to Canada's Wonderland and the highway 400. There is a ton of free parking and easy access.
