Sunset Grill

My Son and I walked into your restaurant at 1045am. The restaurant was not busy by any means. There were 5 tables that had people sitting, 5 tables were empty and the remaining tables had dirty dishes still piled on them. Once we were seated it took approximately 10 more minutes for our server to come and take our drink order. I ordered a coffee and my son ordered a water. 10 more minutes went by before our drinks arrived. Finally at this point our server took our food order. The restaurant still not overly busy, non of the tables that had dirty dishes had been cleared. After waiting 45-50 minutes and still no food my son and I paid for our drinks and left your establishment. I will not be returning to your establishment as the service was poor and the wait time for our meals was unacceptably to long.

have ordered the protein plus through uber eats 3 times now and each time they have completely forgettable the guac on the sandwich (the only part that would make it different from other sandwiches), just confused how the menu says it has the item on the sandwich but the cooks miss it everytime

My sister and I go here often for breakfast dates. This is always our go to restaurant. They are all so nice and friendly! The food is always on point. We find everything reasonably priced and enjoy the atmosphere as it is always nice and clean. Our favourite server ( Sav/Sab, sorry, don’t hate I can never remember which name it is) always goes over and above to make sure our experience is enjoyable.My sister even lost her bank card one time and they had it there waiting for us when we came back to check. It’s nice to know there are still honest people out there. Such a wonderful place to go for a nice quick breakfast. Definitely recommend!

Pretty good spot for breakfast. They open at 7:00 am which is nice for the early risers. Nice hot coffee, good food, and a pleasant server.

Service is below average on a Wednesday morning, I don’t want to think how it is on a busy weekend. There were three tables occupied when we were there. We waited 15 minutes to place the order another 20 minutes to get the food, we asked for mayo, we were brought ONE tiny pack (for two people), asked for more got another ONE, cheque was brought out before the pancakes!!! Food tasted good, no complain. In this economy, if you have customers willing to spend $70 on breakfast for two, treat them better no matter how they look like, it’s sad to see businesses with this low level of service!

The food was good. In the men’s washroom, the stall is pretty close to the sink. The staff was nice. There was lots of parking.

I probably hit this place once a week for breakfast. I love it. The service is great. The food is great. It’s fast it’s friendly. What else could you want? I highly recommend!

Our server was great and did the best she could but the cooks could not do anything right. Eggs Benny sauce was soo runny. Poached hard = with most of the yoke in the egg here. French toast was just sad and almost hard to cut through. Butterfly sausage means they cook it whole and cut it later for you. Side breakfast poutine is not an option here even tho the Welland location did it for us with a doable $4 extra charge.
