I’ve been a server for a long time, so I am very picky with the service I get. Bella exceeds my expectations, she is someone that cares about the food she serves and the people that come into the establishment. I am always so impressed how well she handles all of her tables even when she is so busy. Her costumer service never fails. Thank you Bella

Had breakfast here, ordered the sunset pancakes which were so good, warm and fluffy, added some butter and syrup and it was 🤌🏻. The the other orders we had were the light breakfast and the breakfast special, didn't try them but they looked great as well :) The waitress there was very kind as well!

I recently tried the California Benedict, and it was a major disappointment. The dish lacked flavor overall, and the portion of guacamole was so small it was barely noticeable on the bread. The hollandaise sauce was sparse, which made the dish feel dry and incomplete. The eggs were okay but definitely didn't make up for the lack of flavor or portions. Bacon was good. For $17, I was expecting something much more satisfying – I wouldn’t pay more than $5 for this. I’ve also stopped ordering the home fries, as they are consistently dry and undercooked. The tomatoes were fine, but I was surprised to see that the chives weren't even fresh and consisted of only three tiny pieces. Not worth it. Staff were very nice and helpful. The restaurant was clean and atmosphere was good.

Came here for breakfast for my anniversary with my wife and got served by Paloma. Phenomenal service. Highly suggest requesting her if you visit. Food was great too. (:

November 24, 2024: I just read a couple of one star reviews and have no idea what these people are talking about because this is the third time that I remember coming to this location and having excellent service and excellent food. Bella is a very kind waitress/server who always knows our needs and remembered our previous order as far as drinks are concerned. If she has time, she always stops and talks to us. The bacon my wife got was a bit greasy, but nothing an extra napkin couldn’t handle. The coffee was nice and hot as was the water for my tea. The food came out fast well cooked. My wife just likes a little more colour in her toast. He still stand on our five star evaluation. (From a From a previous visit; Not sure why we can’t write a new review). Again, Bella was very attentive to our needs. As soon as my wife ordered her toast grilled she asked if she had an allergy so we appreciate her care. She visited our table several times to make sure that we had enough tea and coffee. The meal was plentiful. The food taste good. And my toast came really fancy like on my plate, which made me feel a little extra special. We don’t visit often but when we do, we always feel that we are being well cared for. Thanks also to the chef. It was also nice and quiet in the restaurant as we were practically the only people there. We were joined by several OPP officers and we really appreciate how they serve and protect the community.

I had the pleasure of being served by Paloma at Sunset Grill, and I can’t say enough good things about her service. From the moment I sat down, she made sure I felt welcomed and comfortable. Her attention to detail and friendly demeanor made the entire dining experience exceptional. Paloma was attentive without being overbearing, and she made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. She was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great suggestions, which made my meal even more enjoyable. It's clear she takes pride in her work, and it really shows! If you're dining at Sunset Grill, ask for Paloma – she’ll make your experience memorable. Highly recommend

I have lived in the area going on 21 years and have supported small businesses in my area whenever possible. I have been a regular weekend customer since Sunset Grill opened up. I am always greeted with a friendly smile and a good morning by all the wait staff. They have always accommodated my dietary needs and even allow me to keep Avocado Oil on site in order to help with those needs. My go to breakfast is an egg white veggie omelet with 1 yolk, tomato on the side and light rye toast no butter. The coffee is always fresh and to my liking for a medium roast. As a small business owner myself, I am always amazed how many people take the time to write a negative review but it seems that most people who have a positive experience do not take the time. Please help your favourite small businesses by taking the time to write a positive review when you experience it. We are all going through difficult financial times where a kind word goes a long way and costs you nothing to do but a little bit of your time. To the best wait staff I know, see you Sunday for Breakfast :-)

I normally won’t write a review unless I am there myself but my husband was so impressed that he wanted me to write one for him. He took some friends there and said the food was the best he has had out of all the sunset grill he had been to. Service was outstanding. Pancakes were super fluffy and the blueberry ones were particularly tasty. Eggs were well prepared and the picky youngster enjoyed her waffles. You can purchase a small bottle of real maple syrup for $3.75. I suspect that must be available at all locations but I’ve never noticed it before!
