Sunset Grill

Normally Sunset Grill is good today a different story. Arrived at 11.45 am. ½ of the restaurant was empty Waited 15 minutes after seated before anyone came to us at all. Then we finally ordered it took another 15 minutes. I had to go and ask for coffee 3 times within 30 minutes. Still no coffee. When I asked the 3rd time, The Blonde waitress was awful told me you will get your coffee in a very bad tone. Still no coffee. At this point I decided to just leave. It’s a shame Sunset grill service going that way.

The food was great. We were out doing some early morning errands and decided to stop in - we had not been there in quite some time. Food was good, server was great, and this is literally the only place where I've been asked how I'd like my bacon - which is great as we normally ask for it to be well done and that gets lost in translation when going to the cook. The only thing I would've changed was a couple more fill-ups of the coffee as the mugs are tiny and we were thirsty. Highly recommended if you're in the mood for some classic comfort food!

It’s been a while since I have been here and glad I made my way back. First, shout out to our Server Tammy. She was awesome. The restaurant filled up quite quickly (people fuelling up for Christmas shopping) but she remained calm and cool and was very gracious with everyone & there were a few large groups. We had the breakfast special; $7.99, pretty good deal. The food came out quick and was hot. Tammy was quick on the refills, which is tougher to find these days. Great experience, thank you Tammy as well as the chef for making this a great experience. See you soon.

Service was good restaurant was clean, however asked for over easy eggs they came out over medium and over hard, sausage was way undercooked, home fries undercooked and cold. The worse part was when you looked over to where they cook the food, the linecook was using his phone then touching people's food without washing his hands which is completely unsanitary. Please teach your cooks hygiene, people can get sick from cross contamination.

I was here last Saturday morning, early. The server had such a kind, warm, mom-like vibe, she was so good. I decided I'm on a mission to find my favourite breakfast place and started here. I loved that the bacon was cooked flat and it was a good lot of meat on it (not just fat). The food and everything was good, but honestly what made this place stand out was that server. She was super quick when I got there, and as soon as I was done, was quick with my bill. I appreciated the whole thing, thank you to that lady!

Went for breakfast at noon but saw the burger special and couldn't resist. Any burger combo 12 bucks mon to Friday special. Our server Kirsten was great . Definitely stop in and check out the burgers 🍔

Been here a bunch of times now, have no complaints, food is amazing. Take out is quick. My recent experience I choose the Omelete, it was bigger than my stomach lol. Was delicious, staff and there service was great. Recommend anyone who wants a great meal to try this. You won't be disappointed

I placed an order at 8:20. At 8:31 I received a call informing me that the order would be ready at 9am. Ok. They're busy. I understand that. When I arrive at 9am, I wait in queue behind two others and she says that they are making it right now and she will bring it out to my car for me. I wait in my car for 20 minutes. The gentleman who was inside before me is now outside waiting as well. He was told she would bring it outside to him, but he had to go back inside to see what the situation was. He eventually leaves with his food. So, I wait another 15 minutes after he leaves and no one comes out, so I call inside at 9:46. No one answers the phone. I wait another 5 minutes and I decide to go back into the restaurant. The wait staff address no one, and scoot back and forth, packing orders and picking up receipts. There seems to be no delegation of duties or system to them. The kitchen staff is working extremely hard. By 10am I am finally given my order. When I arrive home we are missing an English muffin and two pancakes. Our eggs have also taken on the imprint of the checkered wrapping, with squares of red dye deeply leeched into the food. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time this has happened here. They need to get their act together and find a system. Poor organization and management.
