The most embarrassingly tiny portion of Eggs Benny I’ve ever had at a restaurant. For $20 at least decorate the plate with a slice or 2 of orange or some mix greens. Barely enough potatoes to fit in the palm of your hand with the smallest eggs you can possibly buy along with 1 slice of ham cut in 2 to cover each muffin. Total food cost on that place was probably $3.25 yet charging $20 for it, is like slapping your customer in the face. I wish I had taken a picture to show how tiny it was but I just wanted to eat and get out of there to go across the street and get more food.

Bad customer service, it was a cold morning, so we asked for booth far from the front door (wich was open) the waitress said that kind of tables are for more than 2 persons and we can only sit in the front tables with the front door open, I told her, that we’re big eaters, we’ll order 2 plates each, she didn’t care. So We had to use to tiny tables to fit our plates. Food: Cold coffee Cold and salty food

We went for a late breakfast and tried this place for a change. Well, there won’t be a return trip here. The 35 minutes in traffic to get there was so not worth it. There is no parking around, so we had to park on a side road a couple blocks away. I have a disability so it was difficult to walk that far. Where do I start with the food? The potatoes that were so salty neither of us could finish even half of them. My turkey sausage was extremely dry and for some reason cut into tiny pieces like I’m a toddler who can’t cut my own food. The rye toast was stale and only the very middle had a drop of butter on it. It tasted old or it had been frozen. I was given a warm can of coke with a glass and no ice or straw. My husbands toast was also stale tasting and again a slap of butter only in the middle of the bread. His sausages were dry and cut in half, I guess to cook them faster. The skin was hanging off of them, he couldn’t eat them. The food was not worth the $ 53.00 it cost. (Before tip)Considering we couldn’t finish so much of it. The waiter was nice enough and it’s the only reason he got a tip. Once he set our food down we never saw him again until he finally bothered to look over and see my husband trying to get his attention. There were only a few other customers there and 3 servers. They are mopping the floor around us as we are trying to eat, so all we smell is floor cleaner. We are not picky people in general, so for me to write a bad review, it was pretty bad. Would never recommend this place.

We had a nice getaway to Toronto to visit family! We hit a nice patio on Roncesvalles and had lunch at Sunrise Grill and crepe which had good food and friendly service! Nice atmosphere! We sat on the patio and enjoyed the hustle and bustle of Roncesvalles while enjoying lunch! SUNRISE GRILL & CREPE, 417 Roncesvalles Avenue, Toronto, ON M6R 2N1

My first time here. I think… I used to frequent a Sunrise Grill on Roncy many moons ago but I think this is not it. I needed a place to eat and wait for my cat to be done at the vet clinic on Dundas. It’s very friendly and quiet at 2pm on a Thursday and I enjoyed my Huevos Ranchos, although removed a star because it seemed a bit cold on arrival. Not a deal breaker, it is winter and difficult to keep eggs warm. I will come back, I see they have gluten-free bread options! Yay! Price is right as well.

I've come here a few times over the past two years and had an enjoyable experience. Food was great (I've tried the pancakes, and the goat cheese omelette), and servers were pretty attentive including frequent coffee refills. Environment wasn't as quiet as I likes, but it wasn't loud either. Note payment can only be in Cash or Debit. Highly recommend for a brunch visit. (Pancake score: 7/10) Sidenote: I have a sneaking suspicion this place has been getting review bombed on Yelp...
