The staff were friendly. The rice and meat were good but I didn't like the chicken soup. Maybe my taste is different.

Cornmeal porridge - Extremely sweet, you can tell by the color, and it tasted a day old. Paid $10.15 for a large that came in a 16-ounce container. The value, quality, and quantity do not match at all. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

Food was okay I’ve had much better. Soup was Luke warm had to put it in the microwave. Stew chicken x2 was also Luke warm. Fried dumpling was superrr dry. I ordered stew chicken and I got oxtail with 1 piece of chicken. I ordered rice and peas I got white rice!! Even with the 241 deal on Uber I will not be ordering again.

I'm actually disappointed for the FIRST TIME WITH THIS RESTAURANT. I order 2 large curry chicken mean deal, first time in 3 months eating actual food and not liquid. I WAS SO EXCITED TO TRY THIS BUT WHY IT SO DRY. LIKE THE RICE THE CURRY IM MISSING SOMETHING. I also order dumpling which was wasn't what I expected and NOT IN A GOOD way. Honestly just disappointed

Visited this restaurant a lot, most recent visit was yesterday.... Like other reviewers I agree the customer service is very poor. I never go there and get through right away, always having to call as they're always around the back and take forever to come and serve you. One time the server put meat gravy on my rice without asking me, and when I told her I don't eat meat I only eat chicken she made up her face and gave me 'bad eye' as Jamaicans would say. Then she attempted to scrape the gravy off the rice, I had to tell her I don't want that I want a new serving of rice.... Anyways, I kept going back because I like the festival and the chicken is good when done properly... Yesterday I bought 3 festivals on the side and all 3 of them were stale and tough, we couldn't bite them much less chew them so I had to throw them out. Was also disappointed that the jerk chicken was not all that hot, and to make matters worst the Bar-be-fry chicken that I bought on the side (2 pieces) was not well done. See photo. Turned me off completely as I love chicken well done amd don't like to see any color. So I threw that out too... Sad to say I've had enough of the poor service and having to throw out food and waste money. So I won't be going back.

I ordered a 2 large BBQ chicken meals. After removing the BBQ chicken I noticed the how little rice there is and was very disappointed. I did go here weeks ago and it was decent. Second time I ordered via ubereats and they are very stingy with rice and gravy. Will never buy here again! My advice for this Establishment is I don't want an explanation or an apology just... DO BETTER!

The WORST rice and peas i have ever eaten in my life.. PLEASE PLEASE do not order from this resturant especially if you see a 2 for 1 deal on Ubereats eats, which is where we ordered from.. I can literally count how many peas where on my plate. It was Horrible! We asked for oxtail gravy and it was totally ignored. The jerk chicken was so dry and the pieces of chicken looked pathetic and it was raw on the inside. We also paid for 2 coleslaw but they sent Only 1. There is Absolutely nothing good about this place. I read some of the reviews before placing my order but decided to give it a try anyways! Hopefully this review will prevent somebody else from making the same mistake i did. I strongly think Google Maps should have a zero star option because this resturant definately deserves it.
