Sunnyside Grill

I choose this spot for its location to meet a friend with my baby for lunch. The menu had great options and the food was excellent. Our server was attentive and kind - we loved her personality! Unfortunately the physical environment of the store doesn't consider families or parents with small children. There is a two-step up to the entrance which people with strollers will struggle. Then there is a double door which also poses another physical barrier. In the washrooms, which are located downstairs (not a problem for myself to carry my little one); but there is no change table. Just unfortunate, if accessibility isn't an issue, this is a good breakfast spot.

Ordered through Uber eats. We got their pancakes and traditional breakfasts and everything was amazing. Was made fresh and quality is great. I look forward to visiting their location and experience their dine in service. Keep it up!

The day I visited this place was really unfortunate. I was so hungry and and when I started eating immediately I felt short pains in my stomach. I should have stopped eating immediately but ignored to listen to my body. I eat everything anyway. I had a very rough day. I am glad I made it home. I paid with a very good tip to get terribly sick. I hate this place. Service was amazingly good.

This place has good food but unfortunately you may never get to taste it. Came here for Sunday brunch, and the restaurant was in chaos. It looked like they'd never served brunch on a Sunday before. The hostess and our server were running around with their heads cut off. We asked for water 3 times, never got it. We were in the restaurant for 40 min and only got a cup of coffee. Sunnyside would thrive with an expediter and better management in general.

Absolutely love this place! It's our go-to breakfast spot in the neighborhood. Whether dining in or taking out, the food is always fantastic. The service is excellent when we dine in, and we love bringing friends and family along to share the experience. Highly recommend!

Ordered Uber eats from them. Food is horrible. French toast is stale and still looks like sliced bread inside. So not even made properly. Potatoes and sausage are bland. Absolutely no good taste. Thanks to Uber eats for refunding this cause this was the worst breakfast I’ve had.

We tried the big breakfast and the spicy omelette. All the food was delicious and fairly priced. The staff were friendly and respectful. I’m only deducting one star because the black tea was terrible. I had to order a hot chocolate to cover for it. The hot chocolate was delicious.

Edit: we still love this place! But the bathroom needs to be cleaned. This is the second time we go and the toilets are disgusting. It seems that they don't clean them at all (we were there early in the morning and the garbage bins were all full, so it seems like they didn't clean them the day before) Please wipe those toilets! The hygiene of the washrooms say so much about how much you care about your place. This place is great, classic breakfast menu and brunch. Ingredients are tasty and fresh and prices are very reasonable. Customer service is always great!
