Sunny Morning Breakfast & Lunch

My husband and I have been coming here for years. The food is excellent whether you choose to eat in or take out. Stephanie is a wonderful server who always goes above and beyond. Before we even place our order she remembers what our usuals are. We are glad that this place is so close to home and the quality continues to wow us. If you're looking for a great breakfast joint, this is it.

First visit and definitely wont be our last! A wonderful experience, such a clean and bright environment. Food was delicious and service was exceptional! I felt inclined to leave this review because there was a couple that came in around the same time as us and was so rude to the staff and yelled at the poor server and manager that was trying to help them. The poor girl didn't say anything wrong and got screamed at for just trying to do her job. I saw a lady just post a One star review about rude staff at the same time as the altercation and it is just factually incorrect and so wrong. The server was distraught after they stormed out and it was just a really lousy thing to do and really lousy way to treat people. The staff are exceptional and they handled the situation as well as anyone could.

Tried this place because of the reviews, not sure if it was a bad day, or just over hyped! Overall experience was disappointing. Toast came out before breakfast, my wife’s skillet was lukewarm at best, order water with coffees and waters never arrived. Below is the lumberjack breakfast, I took the pancakes off the plate looking for my eggs…. Thats definitely not 3 eggs, bacon burned… but the sausage was actually good. Overpriced and under delivered based on reviews.

This might be a weird thing to say in a review but I was very impressed with how clean everything was. The dining room and my table were very clean and orderly and when I went to the bathroom I was happy to see the polish and shine and the general state of cleanliness that this place has adopted. With regard to our meal everything was hot and well cooked. I thought there was good value in the $16.50 I spent on my meal with 3 eggs, 4 pieces of meat, 2 French toast (egg bread and not cheap stuff) and a choice of side. Our server Stephanie was extremely pleasant and easy going. She worked fast and efficiently and overall her service made our brunch date significantly more enjoyable. She expressed to me that she handles a lot of the cleaning in the restaurant and I really appreciate her effort. I noticed things like under our table was spotless without any crumbs or leftover food. Very impressed with the state of this restaurant and the quality of our meal that we had here. To the manager of this establishment, I am sure that you treat your staff well as they all seemed friendly and I could see that everyone was working together as a team. You should be proud of the service that you can provide and I hope that your staff gets some recognition for the hard work that they have put in to making this restaurant so charming.

Located in the Farm Boy Plaza. Classic brunch spot with an informal classic diner vibe. seating was tight and there was a surround around of plates clanking together. The furniture seemed like it was made for smaller built individuals , those from the early19th century. My friend is 6’3 and had a challenge fitting in the furniture. food was good and pricing on par with other brunch spots. came out rather quickly after putting our orders in. home fries were cooked well and the greens on the side with sesame balsamic paired nicely with the smoked salmon i opted for on the eggs Benedict. Mimosas are made with freshly squeeze OJ. Was greeted warmly by our bubbly server. she Offered us water as we sat and did quality check. Kept pouring extra coffee for us which tasted pretty good for house coffee. Good spot for a quick breakfast or brunch , and a decent hot pot of coffee.

Randomly stopped here on our drive from Niagara to Toronto and were so impressed! We ordered the Steak & Eggs and the Ranchero omelet (with mushrooms instead of bacon, which they accommodated no hassle). It was absolutely delicious, staff were friendly, and the restaurant itself was very clean. It’s been several hours later and we are still full!

Sunny’s morning breakfast and lunch, the service here was slightly above average. Although the sanitation could be better as the floors were dirty. As for the food if you like crispy potatoes in your breakfast, don’t come here, the potatoes were soggy and bland. I ordered the smoked salmon Benedict and it was good, but the potatoes were a big disappointment.

We selected this place because we were looking for a casual place to have breakfast and also because it looks like they care about customer experience. I read reviews before I try a new restaurant and the fact that this restaurant responded to many of the reviews, it shows that they care and want to improve things. My friend and I didn’t want to go to one of the fancier breakfast spots in the area & we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food and the amazing service we received. We were there at 8:30 and our server was a very thoughtful man. He kept checking to see if we need more coffee and super friendly and attentive. The food was great. Excellent bacon quality and perfectly cooked. Same with eggs, cooked just the way I had asked for. Would absolutely go back to this place. The location and its proximity to the highway is a huge plus.
