Lemonia was what I ordered last time. The chef recommended me to try Campanelle which is so al dente. Actually, this is the most yummy pasta I tasted in Toronto. I would vote it as per the Number One in my favorite pasta list. 😋

The lemonia pasta was so delicious, fresh and full of lemon flavour, which we loved! The lemon is not subtle at all which is so refreshing as I don’t think I’ve ever tried a sauce that was so perfectly sour and zesty. The pasta itself was so good, that we’d wish we could buy it dry to make at home. The service was great too and it was nice to know the difference of the softness for the different pastas. The rigatoni would not have been soft enough for my taste but the Campanelle was perfect! Will be thinking about this pasta for a while…

My experiences at Sundays Pasta Lab has been amazing! I have visited multiple times and I am always welcomed by the attentive staff. There is a great selection on their menu that is very customizable, each with fresh and high-quality ingredients. One of my favourites is the Sundays Best - with oxtail and short ribs in tomato sauce! It is only offered on Sundays and would totally recommend if you happen to go on a Sunday (note: there is limited supply so go early). Every bite was so good, it just melts in your mouth. I can’t wait for my next visit to explore more. Highly recommended to try any of their pastas!

Tucked away in Toronto’s vibrant Stackt Market, Sundays Pasta Lab is a culinary gem offering handmade, soul-warming pasta dishes. With its cozy ambiance and welcoming vibe, this spot is perfect for a chilly day or any time you’re craving comfort food with a touch of sophistication. We tried two standout dishes: The Garlic Smash - A simple yet flavorful starter that’s impossible to resist. The garlic confit, rich and buttery, melts in your mouth, complemented by the earthy olive oil and the satisfying crunch of toasted breadcrumbs. It’s the perfect way to whet your appetite while setting the tone for the meal ahead. Kima: This dish is pure comfort in a bowl, featuring a savory minced beef sauce slow-cooked to perfection. The delicate hint of cinnamon adds a surprising and delightful twist, balancing the richness of the meat and elevating the flavor profile. It’s hearty, nostalgic, and feels like something a loving parent might serve on a cold day. The pasta itself was perfectly al dente, soaking up the sauce beautifully. One of the highlights of visiting Sundays Pasta Lab is the personal touch. The owner and head chef took time to chat with us, sharing his passion for creating dishes inspired by family recipes and elevated with refined techniques. His enthusiasm and dedication to his craft are infectious, and it’s clear that every bowl of pasta is made with care and attention to detail. The restaurant is located within the bustling Stackt Market, adding a modern, urban charm to the dining experience. The cozy setting is ideal for savoring warm, hearty dishes during Toronto’s colder months. Please note, seating is limited near the shop, but there are other areas at Stackt where you can sit and enjoy your meal. Sundays Pasta Lab isn’t just about eating; it’s about experiencing food made with heart and served with soul. Whether you’re a die-hard pasta lover or just looking for a warm, satisfying meal, this spot delivers on every level. Would I Recommend It? Absolutely! Sundays Pasta Lab is a must-visit for food lovers and anyone seeking the perfect bowl of pasta in Toronto.

Loved the service and the owner! Really warm hearted service! And most of all love having someone cook for you right infront of you. One star taken away cause i would like the cups to be wider to reach the settled sauce or pieces! What we ordered- capatappi pasta shape, sunkissed sauce (tomato pesto) mushrooms, truffle oil and chicken!

Incredibly delicious pasta! I don't often buy pasta because my Italian grandfather makes it at home but this rivals the family recipe for sure! I recommend the Lemonia. The simplicity of citrus, butter and spinach is absolutely incredible. There's options to add protein too to make the meal even more filling! Meals come in to go containers but there's seating just outside to enjoy it right away. It's a pleasant place to eat! Service was super friendly and they clearly love making this food. It only took about five minutes to get both meals, great option for people in a rush too! I can't wait to come back and try the other sauces.

Pasta was okay. Lacked salt/enough flavour mainly. The garlic smash pasta was dry. The Tommy was slightly better. Given the container shape, the amount of parmesan on the top portion is not enough for the bottom portion. I don't want to wait around until I get to the lower portion to keep adding parmesan. Tommy wasn't filled to the top. Will likely not try it again. Liked the open kitchen view, shop design and friendly staff.

There could not have been a better addition to the neighbourhood. The pastas are incredible, tasty and the owner is so knowledgeable, friendly and kind. They use fresh ingredients and I see them making the pasta fresh every morning when I take my dog for a walk. The only danger is how often i’ll be going there 😂 can’t wait to try all the different and unique combinations they have.
