December 20, 2024 - I was craving this, so after a very very long morning shift I decided to go and get my lunch. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma meal. It tasted so good. Service was good, the red is really busy so there is a bit of a wait and long times. But it’s worth the wait.

We tried the Mixed Kebab Plate and kebab Shawarma at Sumaq, and they were both amazing! The meat was fresh, juicy, and so soft, it was easy to enjoy every bite. I highly recommend this place. Another great thing is they have lots of free parking, which makes visiting even better!

Drove here for lunch. It is DELICIOUS!! I would go back. I ordered the lamb tikka plate. 😍 it was chunks of lamb and fat grilled on the grill. It was amazing. There was so much flavour! It came with rice (my choice) or fries/ salad/ hummus and garlic sauce (toum?)/ potatoes and fresh bread. My husband ordered the veal rice plate. Also amazing. For him, he felt like the salad was too sour. I thought it wasnt. It is absolutely packed in there. We were lucky to get a seat. That said, there are only 4 tables to seat up to 4 each. Its im guessing a mostly take-out restaurant. The size of the shawarma meat on the skewer was absolutely massive. It must be the biggest ive seen in gta. It tells me that food moves fast there! The only downside was that it was super cold when the door opens. I think if you want to eat there, its better when its warmer out. Sadly, we live too far to take out. Next time i want to try their shawarma. I saw a guy making fresh bread. It was amazing!! Oh and i got 10% off because I paid in cash! Maybe because its their 5 year anniversary?

I tried the Mixed Kebab Plate and Mixed Shawarma at Sumaq, and both were absolutely wonderful! The meat was juicy, fresh, and perfectly tender—so easy to enjoy. Highly recommend this place Bonus: they have plenty of free parking, which makes the experience even better!

The best Iraqi meats kebab shawarma either in wrap, plate or combo platter in Scarborough that most people talked about it. I tried it and confirmed, it’s really good, generous portion given and fresh. Always crowded with people, no worry, their service is superb fast. Surprising, Iraqi liquor availabled in here, very delicious! If you’re like to eat delicious Iraqi foods, I recommend you come here and try. Everything look fresh and taste is good too.

If you are looking for shawarma which tastes same like the one in Syria , I highly recommend this place. We ordered the chicken Shawarma and beef one , the bread is freshly baked and the sandwich is rich with meat and veggies . I will definitely come again to try other stuff . Luckily we found a seating area as the place is super busy , no wonder why ?😍

I read a lot of reviews and saw a couple of instagram post saying this is one of the best places to have shawarma . Let me tell you i ordered it today for the first time and i loved it ….. i could not wait till i get home so i had it in my car :) tried the chicken shawarma and the cashier suggested to go with the Iraqi style bread , it was amazing . I did not have to choose the toppings myself but if you don't like certain toppings just let them know . Place was packed at 12 pm . And as you see in the photos they got 2 rolls of chicken and 1 roll of beef going at once which tells you they sell a-lot and their food is fresh . But considering all that wait time was only a few minutes . They know what they are doing folks . Give it a try you wont be disappointed

This place was highly rated by many food bloggers so we had to check it out! It was not busy when we first walked in but got crowded after we ordered. The cashier was very patient and kind while we were deciding how many we needed (we were a group of 8). The individual putting the wraps together was also very patient while we decided on toppings. The wraps were delicious and filling but we had them when they were a bit cold. You should eat it right away rather than waiting like I did. Will be back again!
