Food was delicious but did not accurately mark nuts. Had a bad allergic reaction afterwards despite nothing we ordered saying it had nuts. Deeply disappointed given how good it was. EDIT: Don't appreciate the unprofessional response from the business. I had the worst allergic reaction of my life because of your restaurant; how dare you make excuses. Clearly, your staff cross contaminated the food in unsafe and dangerous ways. Will be telling everyone I know to AVOID THIS PLACE. no wonder it was empty.

As a vegetarian in Toronto, Sue Fungs has one of the best tasting veggie dumplings ever. I think it's mushroom and scallion or something? Either way. Delicious.

This is a order at the counter and self service restuarant. Mordernized dim sum serving. Food tasted fresh and good, but the popular rib dish was too salty for our taste buds.

most awful dim sum I have ever tasted. the wrapper of the chicken dumpling is thick and still has raw dough. the matcha soup dumplings' wrapper is hard as well and the meat inside tastes sour, probably why it's on promo on ubereats buy 1 get 1. the baby octopus was overcooked and too rubbery to eat we had to throw them out. the abalone tart had a mushy texture. the hargow has a very thick wrapper too. the only item we liked is the foie gras and caviar siu mai but we do not taste foie gras. among all dim sum restaurants in the area, they are the most expensive and the worst quality. Rosewood, Dim Sum King and Wok Theory are way better and cheaper.

I heard it’s hard to find good dim sum downtown but I think this is a great option! It’s self serve so you go to the counter and order then pick up your food once it’s ready. Staff is really friendly and the establishment is really clean. The food is a bit pricey but it’s expected given the location. I didnt think the food was exceptional but it was as good as I expected it to be. We got the har gow, squid with oats (which was my favourite) and the shrimp dumplings. The eggs tarts were suggested by the staff but I unfortunately didn’t like the richness of the custard and tart but I can see why others would really like it. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m craving dim sum

I have to admit, I can’t compare it to other dim sum places as I tried it for the very first time but everything about it was fun and delicious. Loved the snow pea dumpling, veggie, sticky rice with pork, rice ball with salty egg and mango mochi. The shrimp and minced pork one was the only one that I did not enjoy as much (it has too much meat in it for my taste). As the name suggests, there is not much service and you have to pick up and clear your tray after eating but the restaurant is clean and bright which I enjoyed.

This is a very cute and spacious place near Kensington Market for some dim sum! Ordered the barbecue pork pastry, abalone tart and sticky rice with minced chicken. Everything was prepared fresh and took about 10-15 mins to arrive, which was fine! The barbecue pork pastry was very flaky and the pork was sweet and juicy. The abalone tart could get messy as the abalone and minced pork held a lot of weight and sauce, the tart easily crumbled after taking a bite. The sticky rice soaked in the leaf’s flavour and maintained the moisture. They also have some modern kinds of dim sum on menu. They don’t really have a ‘main’ on menu. Overall is a decent place for dim sum and for winding down!

Sue Fung is one of the BEST YumCha in Downtown Toronto that I’ve had so far. Located in College St, near Kensington Market, their Dimsum is authentic with a fast-casual concept. Each dim sum is fresh made to order, has a nice amount of filling, you can taste the high quality of ingredients which will blow your tastebuds! The portions were generous too!! * Shrimp & Minced Pork Dumpling (Siu Mai) topped with caviar * Jumbo Shrimp Dumpling (Har Now) * Spare ribs with taro & Chinese black olive * Sticky Rice with diced Octopus & minced pork in lotus leaf * Barbecue Pork with Hazelnut & pineapple pastry * Crispy Squid tentacles with oats * Fried Sesame Rice Ball filled with Salted Egg Yolk - DELICIOUS!! OMG!! I always prefer rice ball with salted egg yolk rather than red bean, and I’m so happy they have it here at Sue Fung. * Mango Mochi * C Well * Orange Sapsucker Can’t say less about their food! They are doing a great care for the Earth, using 100% biodegradable and compostable dinnerware made from palm tree leaves & takeout container made from cornstarch. Their spot is spacious as well. SAVE this for your next Dimsum plan in Downtown Toronto.
