The curry was okay. It was $9.99 so you pay for what you get. Firstly, the best thing was actually the free ebi furai for leaving a 5-star review (likely why the shop has a 4.9 rating, cos most don't bother changing it). The ebi furai was honestly REALLY GOOD tho, 5/5! The chicken curry itself (doesn't include the karaage) was nothing extraordinary, but at least it's not instant curry (I hope lol). Portion size was quite a lot and filling, probably because they gave A LOT of rice with some edamame (lightly seasoned) and corn. It had chunks of chicken thigh that were soft and juicy. The karaage was my friend's order, he said it was quite good. There are barely any seats there and half of the restaurant is like a storage place so I'd recommend doing takeout.

I got the original chicken Japanese curry and it was a very fair price for a decent portion. It was a little thin, but very flavourful and not too salty. I would’ve given 4 stars, but taking one off because I don’t like when businesses offer an incentive to customers who leave 5* reviews. Their 4.9 rating wasn’t fairly earned in my opinion.

As a seasoned Japanese karage curry enjoyer STuu STuu leaves something to be desired. Certainly good food, but in terms of a good Jap curry the sauce was overly oily and thin and the chicken was very fatty and very greasy. Unfortunately I would not recommend.

Takeout only. On the chicken karaage curry: sauce was thin consistency with thick oil layer, the chicken pieces are highly variable in size, dark meat for karaage and a large portion of rice. Addition of edamame and sweet corn was good.

Really good stuff - I am a fan of their eggplant curry in recent times, along with the torches sushis. For Asian Cuisine in the village - this is pretty decent!

I’m a fan of curries and stews. The ingredients used say a lot about its people and culture. The food here is tasty and the portions are generous. Definitely happy with my meal. And with the weather cooling down, warm Japanese comfort food is a must. Thanks for the excellent service.

Had the beef stew, and it was really good! The meat was super tender and the seasoning for both the beef and the gravy was flavourful with a pepperiness to it. I ordered a side of their corn and that was pretty bland. Don’t think it was seasoned at all. Nice packaging for their takeout containers.
