Very poor and bad service because they don’t have anything except chicken biryani and I don’t know why do they have big menu if they don’t serve. I ordered chicken and it was so tasteless I felt I did waste my money. The biggest thing I want to say please don’t work under them because they don’t pay so don’t waste your time working with them.

I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Student Biryani in Toronto that people need to know about. After driving 40 minutes from our Airbnb, relying on their Google listing that claimed they were open until 11 PM, we arrived only to find a notice saying they were closed for maintenance. There were no updates on their Google hours, no “temporarily closed” status—absolutely nothing. Attempts to call ahead went unanswered, but we assumed they were just busy. To say this was infuriating would be an understatement. It’s 2024, and it should be basic practice for any business to keep their information updated online. The complete lack of communication was not only disrespectful but a major waste of time, especially in a city as large as Toronto where people might be traveling significant distances based on posted hours. Our 40-minute drive back, empty-handed, only added to the frustration. To Student Biryani: Update your business hours and notify customers of closures. This kind of oversight is unacceptable and shows a blatant disregard for your customers’ time. Take this feedback seriously and do better.

Rice they use are such low quality. Please do yourself a favour and DONT go to this place to waste your money. I am sure the biryani you eat at home is 100000000 times better than this. Worst Biryani EVER!!! No taste, rice are all sticky. Fake student Biryani, nothing like Authentic Student Biryani from Pakistan. I wonder where is the owner from? And if he has the original recipe? It is not made fresh because there was no cook in kitchen for sure. Girls at the front assembled it and served it. Honestly this doesn’t even deserve one star.

The Biryani was definitely microwaved. The seasoning was good… but because it was microwaved the rice was stale and the meat was dry. I can literally hear her open and close the microwave right after I ordered. The seating area looks nice and clean but when you don’t have good food, there’s no point. The price was not bad, but I wouldn’t have minded paying 4$ more for some proper Biryani. Disclaimer: I haven’t tried their wraps, but it seems like people like them.

You call this biryani? Ordered take out, paid twenty dollars for this half filled box of coloured rice with barely any meat. Wish I had opened the box to check in store before coming home. So much dishonesty at this place. At other places you can easily get double the amount for 2/3 the price. What a joke! Avoid this place at all costs. They bring a bad name to the real student biryani in Karachi. I’ve tried the one in Brampton a few times and they are at least somewhat consistent. Seems these guys in Markham don’t even have a proper chef in the kitchen. Save your money and go somewhere else.

This is my first time trying student biryani in Markham. And honestly it has been unexpectedly the worse experience of my life. There was literally only one chicken leg in the box with burnt rice and no flavor at all. Extremely disappointed. I've tried biryani from the same branch in jeddah as well as in Karachi and honestly they were so good back there. You guys need to change your chef cause it looks like he's making u lose your customers drastically. Not recommended because there are better places that serve genuine biryani.

0/5 I had high expectations from Student Baryani. This was probably the worst food I've tasted. We ordered chicken baryani, nehari, 5 naans, and they all tasted stall and bad. The naans were from local store and was heated up in microwave. The baryani tasted like it was made weeks ago. I took a bite of the chicken and it was soo bad that I felt like vomiting 🤮. DO NOT WASTE UR MONEY HERE!!!

Student Biryani is very famous Pakistani Biryani in all over the world and there are many branches in different countries. We tried first time from Markham road Branch. It was good in taste and the service was very quick. I am potato lover; so I was so glad to see when I saw yummy potatoes in the chicken briyani. But still It's on starting time because there is no variety of menu; only different flavours of briyani are available. I hope in the future , they will start some more yummy food. I missed fresh juices too. Best of luck for your great success. I am YouTuber with same I'd name and i uploaded shorts of student Briyani too. I hope you will visit my Channel too.
