Street Momo Scarborough

The food was incredible. I would recommend everything I had: the butter chicken momo, the chili momo, the tandoori momo, and the chow mein noodles. I'm not in Scarborough often, but when I am, I'll be coming to Street Momo for my fix.

First time coming here! we ordered the butter chicken momos (perfect for those who can’t handle spicy food, filling was juicy and flavourful) and the tandoori chicken momos (also a great option!). We started off with the lemon coriander soup and it was soooooo good. Tangy, comforting and refreshing all at the same time! We were also tempted by the burnt garlic fried rice which was so worth it! It had a beautiful smokey garlicky taste and the portion was big. Overall a wonderful experience. Will come back with friends for sure. (Also yay it’s halal)

Today was my third visit to street momo and It has always been pleasant. I tried the schezwan noodles, jhol momo and chicken pakora for the first time, which reminded me of nepali taste🫶. I would recommend this place to my loved ones. Loved the food there and will visit again❤️

The Momo's were good and flavourful but the noodles were okay. I will come again but will probably do takeout next time. The flavors were very good so definitely up the spice if you can handle it.

I recently dined at Street Momo, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. I ordered momos, which I was looking forward to, but when I took a bite, I found a hair embedded in the filling. This was incredibly off-putting and raised concerns about the kitchen's hygiene standards. Despite the staff's apologies, I was left feeling quite unsettled and disappointed. Given this experience, I’m hesitant to return or recommend this place.

Wow I was pleasantly surprised by the style of umbrella in mango lassi. Fantastic chicken chowmein, chicken chili momo, chicken tandoori momo . The state of every momos and chowmein never fails to amaze me as I enjoyed every single bite here. Thank you very much for speedy chefs and excellent dine in service. Keep us the same taste. This is a nice restaurant for Hakka Food. We ordered Tandoori and Vegetable Momos and loved both though my favourite were vegetable momos. Also, we ordered paneer and chicken manchurian along with hakka noodles. All food was pretty good except manchurian dishes were little bit salty for us. Overall good experience but they need more staff as service was slow. Would recommend this restaurant and I will be returning back. EDIT: On our 2nd visit, the food wasn’t upto the standards. The only dishes I will recommend is momos and noodles. I’m reducing the start rating from 4 to 2 because I told the server that Paneer Manchurian wasn’t not good as panner had bad taste and had a strange texture. To that she replied that from where they get paneer, they probably changed brand. Instead of accepting problem and doubt something about it, she just denied. We left all paneer pieces as is. Service is poor because they avoid eye contact and are in denial for feedback.

Absolute gem! The food is so good - I highly recommend trying the Madras momo and crispy potato appetizer. The chilli Momo and Hakka chow mein (vegetarian) is also a favourite. Service is friendly and the restaurant is nice and quiet which I love love love! I also appreciate that they have vegetarian and vegan options - and not just a few, lots! Run don’t walk to Street Momo!
