A Cabbagetown, Toronto local neighbourhood pub, we do classic pub fare from scratch with local ingredients. We are also a craft beer destination with 22 taps, a hand-pumped cask, and 80+ bottles and cans of craft beer and cider! We host Headscratchers Trivia every Monday and Tuesday, starting at 7:00pm sharp! Come early to get a table. We host parties of all sizes, call us today to make a reservation or book space to host an event. We opened in January 2011 and we care deeply about the homemade food and local craft beer we serve - but most of all, we care about the service we provide - so stop by and let us host you in our home.

I really liked this place, but the last few times I have bee. There the food quality has really gone down. I ordered the chicken tenders as a safe option (pretty hard to mess up). Got it to go, the chicken tenders were more like fingers, the put them in a separate foil bag with made the coating soggy and the chicken was dry. The picture online looks like a proper buttermilk one but not these. If I did not know any better I would assume they were from a hot food counter at a grocery or a 7 eleven, packed the previous day and left under I heating lamp in the foil bag. Could not even finish them. This is about the 4th bad experience in a row and can not imagine going here anymore

this cozy spot instantly won me over with its warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment I stepped in, making it feel like a true local pub where everyone is treated like family. I had the fish n’ chips, and I have to say, they were absolutely excellent! The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Paired with golden fries and a side of tartar sauce and slaw, it was everything you’d hope for in this classic dish. Whether you’re craving comfort food, a pint of Guinness, or just a laid-back place to unwind and play some board games or take part in a quiz night, Stout is definitely a must.

Visited this several times through the years and it’s amazing. Staff, food and ambience are all spot on. I usually get their fish and chips. Made very well, generous portions and absolutely delicious. Would love to visit again when I’m in Cabbagetown area.

Busy Sunday due to the festival. The door lady with black hair could use some kindness. I know the service industry is a stressful job. Thankfully the bar man was receptive and provided excellent service. The beer was nice and cold. Mandatory tip is in the bill - $11.20 for the pint😕.

If you’re looking for a comfy break from modern stiffness, you should go to Stout. They have a great liquor selection with an old school pub ambiance. The fish and chips won’t disappoint (get a side of curry poutine sauce for a nice kick) and neither will the fried chicken sandwich!

Such a lovely pub, really clean and nice vibe. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating and we loved our meal. We'll be back!

Amazing atmosphere - patio hit the spot for my brunch cravings this weekend. They have puppies on the patio!!! There is a separate menu for puppies as well, which is adorable.

Great place that offer a variety of well done and refreshed classic dishes. There are a few sitting areas including a bar depending on the vibe you are looking for. The patio is at the back, haven't had a chance to try it out. The server was not attentive to basic things like refill of water. My fav dish was the mushroom grilled cheese with soup, great lunch option!
