What a great dinner at Stop! My friend and I came in over the holidays and felt warmly welcomed. Everything was delicious but the standouts were definitely the cheese plate, watercress salad, and scallops. Highly recommend!

One of my favorite restaurants in the city, and has been for years now! Every meal I’ve ever had the pleasure of enjoying at Stop has always felt like an elevated home cooked dish. The staff is always friendly and the atmosphere is perfection. I was so sad when they had to close due to challenges, however, I’m so glad they’re back and better than ever. If you ever get the chance to visit, I highly recommend. You will not regret it!!

Food was great! But service was not, one strange comment from the server ruined the whole evening for me. And I did not recognize some dishes in the menu even with the description.

Such a lovely and cozy spot - feels like you’re dining at a friend’s home. Visited for an anniversary dinner with my girlfriend and she’s a very picky eater. A lot of the dishes we had were a first for her and she thoroughly enjoyed all the offerings of the night. Standout dishes for myself were the beet and potato salad, the sweetbreads, the borsch, and the honey cake. The overall theme I was getting from the meal was that most things were quite rich with lots of butter, but I’m not complaining because everything was delicious! Support local businesses and give the team at Stop a visit for a stellar night, I highly recommend it!

I am so attached to this place now even I don’t live around the neighborhood, parking is easy and the place is so unique with a warm atmosphere. Food is excellent and well presented towards satisfying your cravings, simply cannot ask for more. The service is really great with all the recommendations clearly explained. Full score and no stars can be used to reflect the overall satisfaction at least from me and my family.

Had such a wonderful dinner here tonight and will be recommending it to people! Every bite we had was perfect and everything was so delicious and well balanced. Service was quick and attentive and I’m obsessed with the vibe and the subtle cat theme. I would come again and again

Went here for my birthday yesterday. I’ve been following the stop story re: fire and reopening and it was on my list of places to get to. BLEW MY MIND Everything was delicious and our server was awesome I pulled a sneaky and didn’t tell my wife what sweetbreads were and she loved them… but after the bill came and I told her, she agreed she wouldn’t have tried them if she had known what they were lol Great plates for sharing and would 100% go back and have already recommended it to others Definitely get the honeycake and trust me it’s waaaay less sweet than you are expecting in a good way. When I hear honey dessert I think of Gulab Jamun which is an Indian dessert but waaaaay too sweet for me… this cake was not that.

Really happy to see the return of this restaurant. The food was excellent and the staff were very attentive. One minor issue was that the back of the restaurant is connected to their cleaning area and the smell of the cleaning liquid is quite strong and drifts towards the tables. I think it only affects the tables closest to the back, so I would recommend trying to skip those.
