The real roadhouse bar & restaurant. A classic institution with a drink and food menu dialed into classic perfection. Large servings of home style diner plates and all the side dishes you expect. Great wings. Massive delicious fish & chips. Roast beef! The food prices and portions can't be beat. You can get a beer here for five bucks! You will not find a kinder more friendly staff anywhere in the world. The country style rustic interior is a tad worn but in the best manner possible. Steelers is a great place to eat and/or have a drink if you're a local or just passing by the area. A must visit in my books.

Stopped in here on our motorcycles. Plenty of street parking and a gravel lot behind. Clean facility with a lovely patio out back. My husband ordered the meatloaf special and I had the turkey dinner. Both were delicious and plentiful portions. We topped it off with good coffee and a slice of carrot cake. We will be back!

This is our fourth time eating at Steelers with 2 other couples and what a treat to be there on Bike Night and to see the many various motorcycles. As always the food and service was excellent. Special Thank You to our server Maggie, such a pleasant and attentive individual. Hope to see you the next time we are in Elmvale.

Great environment for any occasion. From a sit down family meal to a solo beer with the locals, cant ask for a better place to hang out. The food is always on point and the service is exemplary, especially if you end up with their best server Marika. Service with a smile is the laziest way to describe her. Would recommend

Coming to the area for the first time, we decided to check out this pub. The atmosphere was great in terms of the decor and overall feel. Hostess was nice, taking out drinks right away and bringing them. Another waitress took our food order and everything was going well until we realized we had been waiting 45 minutes with no word from our waitress about our food. She never once came to check on us and we had to chase her down. Finally when we asked where our food was, she was very rude coming back to our table with a very abrasive tone acting like it was our problem. Lo and behold, our food came out five minutes later. I got the “works” burger - I gave food two stars because the fries weren’t too bad but the burger was burnt and overcooked. You can tell the food was under the heat for a while just sitting there. Just an overall horrible experience - would not recommend.

FREE Toppings…if you like mouse poop this is your spot. Unfortunately we had 2 mouse dropping from the ceiling sitting at the far tables along the wall. We were unable to eat after seeing that and they had the nerve to still charge us even when we didn’t have our main course. Good Job Steelers! Update 08/13/2024 to Jay Schell comment: Mr Schell, Thank you for your response, I’m glad to hear that the Simcoe Health department came to do a full inspection on your business after I informed them of what I saw. The proof is in the pictures, I would just not make something up like this, sorry that you feel this way but stuff does happen. When I brought it up to Sue the night of our visit she did not act surprised or even come to inspect what I saw, as if this has happened before. I stand by my post 100% and I’m not trying to damage your small business as you're stating. The fact that you are accusing my claims as false is ridiculous, when none of this has been proven in court as of yet, I have informed my legal team and we look forward to you pursuing this as I WILL NOT be removing this most as you asked. Awesome homestyle comfort food served at this cozy joint! Steelers is a local favourite in Elmvale. Pleasant service, yummy food, and a lovely atmosphere. Food is classic and familiar - nothing that blew me away, but totally hits the spot. We enjoyed the Breaded Broccoli Bites as an appetizer, and the Liver & Onions and Lasagna (daily special) for mains. Parking on the street or at the municipal lot a few steps away.

First I'll say the service was great! We both loved their "spinach dip" best I've ever had. Next to us was a couple eating wings and they looked 'big' and they said very tasty . I ordered wings with a flavour not on the menu, lemon pepper. I appreciate the fact they still gave me what I wanted but holy moly there was way too much lemon pepper put on my wings and I was kinda scraping it off the best I could. Would definitely go back but not order lemon pepper again.
