People should be aware of open box food tax of $1.00 has been charged to each customer. I never seen that before in any other restaurant. Also when the curry is almost finish instead of brining from the back they just scrape from the bottom of the pot and put whatever they have. It happened to me 2 times. Very disappointed.

Great tasting Sri Lankan food. Kottu Roti is probably the best in the city. Lamprais and deviled meats were pretty good. Good bang for your buck. Customer service was on point. However, the plaza is pretty run down.

Hands down, the best mouthwatering Sri Lankan food you can find close to Toronto! You must try the Lamprais there, it will fill your stomach for the entire day! Also try the savory shorteat items such as chicken rolls and vegetables rottis aaand the watalapan dessert The service was top notch!

I’m glad I found this hidden spot in this old plaza which is hygienic in atmosphere , presentation of food in clay pots was very unique with multiple varieties of veggie fries and curries . I have tried their chicken kottu roti - very flavourful and moist and so good unlike other places which tend to be a bit on drier side . I also got their pumpkin curry, eggplant curry and kale stir fry which very flavourful and unique in taste and quantity given is reasonable for the price . I will definitely keep coming back and try their jaffna fries, chicken curry with flaky parotta

Highly recommended. Most amazing Sri Lankan food. I ordered the muttom lamprais. Advertised as being sufficient for 2 people, I ended up getting portions of top-notch food that could serve 4 very hungry people. The curries were top quality and the meat was very soft as it should be. Choice cuts of meat too. What a colourful, variety-filled dish. See picture. I orderd a fish roll too to eat while the lamprais was being prepared, and the roll was fried freshly. This was a high quality roll, on the same level of rolls served Martins Bakery in Scarborough. See picture. Next time I will order their selection of nuts and individual curries. Seeing these dishes in their clay pots is itself interesting. Adds to the overall authentic Sri Lankan vibe. See video showing a small subset of selection. I did go in fairly late so they were understandably short on some ready-made items. The service was exceptional. The server went out of her way to ask if I wanted to dine in in a make shift place and explained the nuances of lamprais.

We come here almost every week because the food is so good and remind us what we used to eat in Colombo. Generous portions, good price and very friendly service. Highly recommended for authentic Sinhalese food.

Ordered mutton kothu roti and the Jaffna fries. So delicious and prices were very affordable! Everything was well seasoned and portions were generous. Staff were very friendly and kind. Can’t wait to return to try more off their menu!
