Great dim sum restaurant in Whitby. It was the greatest experience here. The food is absolutely prefect , hot and delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and overall amazing service. Definitely will come back again.

Thrilled to have an authentic Hong Kong dim sum cafe in Durham! The cozy ambiance and aromas immediately set the tone for a great meal. The wonton noodle soup was a highlight, with a flavorful, comforting broth, and the shrimp dumplings were fresh and delicious. While the soup dumplings were a touch dry, the overall experience was delightful, and the quality of the food shows how dedicated and hardworking the owners are. It's clear they put a lot of heart into each dish. A fantastic spot for dim sum fans — definitely worth a visit!

I had an amazing dining experience with my bestie at Steam One Cafe. The staff was friendly, and the food was delicious. We both loved the Steam One combo, which offered a wide selection of dim sum. We ordered a pot of jasmine tea, which paired well with the food in this cold season. I also loved the birthday peach bun. I will definitely go back with my family soon.

Came here after seeing they had some very affordable lunch options. We got the dumpling noodle soup, wonton noodle soup, and a steamed pork ribs and chicken feet rice. Unfortunately the spareribs were cut into very big pieces and were chewy off cuts, and sadly the middle was still raw, even though this dish took a long time arrive. The chicken feet had a sour red vinegar taste to it which I didn't like. The server was quick to remove this item from our bill. I also recommend that the restaurant cook out the soy sauce that comes with the rice as it was mostly dark soy and salty, and should be more sweet. The two noodle soups were pretty good but it was difficult to tell the difference between the dumpling and wonton. I think one had mushrooms, although both were primarily pork based. It's not quite Hong Kong style wontons which are shrimp based. They do have a great chili oil. The restaurant gets really stuffy inside without a good exhaust so my clothes and hair smelled like grease. I'd come back just for their lunch noodle soups.

For some authentic Dim Sum, head over to this place . We were pleasantly surprised at how fresh the food was and the service was great. They also have a huge freeze where u can buy items to take home. I also love the huge picture of Hong Kong that dominates the entire wall. It works.

Durham Region has been missing a proper Dim Sum spot, and finally, it’s here! I can confidently say this is the best Dim Sum east of Scarborough. The portions are generous, and the taste is absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and delicious! On top of that, the pricing is very reasonable, making it a great value for what you get. If you're a Dim Sum lover in the area, this place is a must-try. Highly recommended!

Food: The menu at this dim sum spot may be small, but they've carefully curated a selection of excellent representative dishes. We mostly ordered dumplings, and every dish we tried was delicious. The food arrived hot, steamy, and perfectly cooked, just as you'd expect from a quality dim sum restaurant. Service: The staff were friendly, professional, and attentive throughout our visit. Many of them are Chinese, which adds a touch of authenticity to both the food and overall dining experience. Recently opened in Whitby, this is one of the few Asian eateries in the area, and possibly the only dim sum place so far. Ambiance: The interior is cozy, with only four tables, but it's clean and thoughtfully decorated to honor their cultural roots, which I really appreciated. I was also pleasantly surprised by how accessible the space is, a feature you don’t often see in restaurants of this size. Kudos to them! I highly recommend this place!

Our party of seven had a wonderful time at this cute & elegant neighbourhood dim sum cafe. The food was tasty and well presented. It was quite busy during the dinner time, but the staff made sure that we were not left unattended. Strongly recommend this place!
