By far the best Guyanese Chinese Restaurant in The Scarborough Area if not Toronto. Consistently good, hot fresh food. Pepper Shrimp is Tops.Starlite Fried Rice is Delicious 😋. Great Staff. Highly Recommended. Love the Wiri Wiri Pepper sauce.

I'll start off by saying 5/5 stars because you guys always satisfied my hunger, but there's times the chicken tastes like seafood... please don't use the same cooking oil you used to cook seafood for the chicken/beef... it's just disgusting. I understand a business losses 1 customer but gains 10 more, I understand how that works. Please keep the best chef on your payroll and please don't let any other restaurant take them away from your team by paying them more. The food is good but it's a hit or miss. Depending on the chef cooking the food you ordered. This applies to every single restaurant establishment. I will order from you guys once a year moving forward but even then I'll be hesitant due to the last order of chilli chicken and steamed rice tasted like seafood... I still ate it because I was at work, on the clock, and really hungry. C'est la vie. Eat less, drink less, own your own.

I recommend never go here the waiter robbed us over $100. And when we brought it up to her she ignored us and returned to her customers. Worst west indian resturant in toronto please I advise you not to visit this restaurant.

Got the basa and the beef short ribs and they were phenomenal. The basa wasn’t greasy at all which I appreciated because at other establishments, there is usually a puddle of oil. The beef short ribs were juicy and so so flavourful. I can’t wait to try the other dishes here. The service was also top notch. Very friendly, conversational and aware of what customers need.

If you're in Scarborough and craving some good ole Guyanese/Chinese home cooking, I'd recommend this little restaurant. Good selection of tasty dishes, made fresh with lots of flavor and spice. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. Drop by when you're hungry or thirsty.

Food is amazing. Atmosphere is vibrant. Service friendly. This is my Scarb hangout now. They have constant takeout orders, cause food is off charts. Which is really weird cause it’s a dive bar.

Another Carribean flavour restaurant in the area that was recommended to us. Clean, well maintained medium size operation. Shanza who took our order and brought it to the car when it was ready to have us not having to wait inside as it can get busy and with covid protocols etc. Was very friendly, took the time out to explain certain items on the menu and was a pleasant to deal with although she was busy answering the phone and bringing out the take out orders. We like the food but was disappointed with the shrimp rolls which was way too thin and tasted like there was hardly anything on the inside. Would definitely return again.

Been coming to this restaurant for years since they opened up at this location. Family restaurant is the perfect name for this place because it really does give off that vibe the minute you enter. I always bring my family and friends every time I go here and we always enjoy the excellent West Indian cuisines along with the famous “bucket special” they always have year round (5 beers for around 20 bucks)! My personal favourites I will recommend to anyone visiting are the chicken wings and the pepper shrimp. Arguably the best pepper shrimp I ever had in Toronto, and the wings, any flavour you choose might be your new favourite! Must try this restaurant out if you want some amazing bar food, prices are super affordable and for the portions absolutely worth it!
