Good place to have authentic Chinese food. Good food, standard service. The seafood took strangely long to come out on this visit. I always look forward to ending with their complimentary dessert. Both locations are good. This location has more seating although the one on Bayview is more modern. The menus look the same.

Had an excellent dinner experience with friends at this restaurant. Amazing food and great service. Restaurant decor is very nice too. Had lobster, duck, fish, etc. Love it. Sweet and sour pork was excellent. Would definitely go back.

This is one of our favorite spots for authentic Cantonese seafood in the GTA! This time, we indulged in 6 pounds of geoduck, prepared in three unique styles. The Geoduck Sashimi was a true delight, offering an oceanic sweetness with a gentle crunch. The Stir-fried Geoduck was tender and slightly chewy, light and refreshing with snow peas, celery, and king oyster mushrooms. The Salt and Pepper Geoduck with Pumpkin had a nice spicy kick that didn’t overpower the delicate flavor of the geoduck, complemented by the sweet, creamy pumpkin. The chef really honored this seafood delicacy with these three preparations! The steamed green bass was cooked to perfection, with a mild, natural sweetness and a buttery richness that melted in our mouths. The Crispy Skin Free Range Chicken was equally impressive, with its crunchy skin, shrimp chips, and juicy meat. We loved the Braised Pea Sprout with Garlic in Broth, which was incredibly tender, and the Braised Goose Palms with Black Mushrooms & Sprouts was packed with flavor—our 4-year-old especially enjoyed the meaty, chewy mushrooms. For dessert, the matcha mousse was the perfect ending—flavourful, light, and not too sweet. The service was good, and the tables were spaced well for a comfortable dining experience. However, due to a booking mistake, we were rushed to finish our meal toward the end. The staff genuinely apologized and offered us some complimentary cake to take home, which was a thoughtful gesture. Despite this minor hiccup, we had an enjoyable dining experience!

This is my go to place for the crab with vermicelli in casserole. I could smell the ginger and shallots sizzling in the pot a mile away. The crab was cooked just right. The crab meat was sweet and tasted swimming fresh. My fourth time here and tasted just as good. The beef tenderloin with French mustard and honey was also yummy. The beef was really tender and well seasoned. Grouper with ginger and green onion in clay pot was fragrant and sizzling hot. The sweet and sour pork with pineapple was quite authentic. Came with pickled leek. (Forgot to take a photo) The pea shrouts in broth was what you expect from a Chinese restaurant. Was not overcooked.

The service here is incredible. They have so many wait staff working. The food itself is ok. Not terrible but nothing to go crazy about. The chicken sweet corn soup was good but the Yang Chow fried rice was bland. It’s also very loud but typical of this type of restaurant.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and overall, the food and service were excellent. Our group of 10 had reserved a private room in advance, which provided a much better experience than the noisy main dining area. The first course, the soup, was just average but the second dish, steamed crab with vermicelli, was absolutely delicious. The crab meat was juicy and flavorful. The other crab dish, made with salted egg yolk, was also very tasty. Both highly recommended! However, the Typhoon Shelter-style lobster was a bit disappointing in comparison. The steamed fish was another highlight for me, fresh and delicious. The Five-Spice Duck was claimed to be one of their specialties. It was well-seasoned and tender, definitely worth trying. Nonetheless, the fried rice and fried noodles at the end were quite disappointing, could avoid them if possibles. Plus, the service was quite outstanding. The staff were very attentive and efficient, which added to the overall positive experience. I’ll definitely be coming back.

A hidden gem among the many Chinese restaurants in the area. I visited this spot with my family, and we sampled a bit of everything, from the rice dishes to lobster and soups. Every dish was perfectly seasoned—not too strong, not too bland. The service was exceptional, unlike what you might expect at some typical Chinese restaurants. The servers not only filled our plates for the initial serving but were also friendly and willing to engage in conversation. This restaurant truly stands out for both its delicious food and outstanding service.
