The food here was excellent; I ordered the jerk pork and my date ordered the oxtail. He is a hard man to please food-wise and he enjoyed his meal very much. We will definitely return! The ackee spring rolls were delicious, but not enough. Should be served as 5 instead of 3. My drink was the Hey Sexy Lady! and it was FANTASTIC! I am looking forward to dining here again - and soon.

We drove all the way from London to try this restaurant. It was well worth the drive. I think I am obsessed with Jamaican 🇯🇲 food now. The salty fish fritters are crunchy on the outside and soft/spongy on the inside. It pairs beautifully with a sweet/tangy sauce. The oxtail & rice and beans was my favourite. Rich flavour profile with tender and juicy beef. Chef’s kiss. The jerk chicken is the best I have ever had in 🇨🇦. Well seasoned and the meat is still succulent after BBQ.The festival which is a type of deep fried sweet bread is like nothing I have had before. I honestly enjoyed my meal very much. Sending love to the lovely service team and chef(star of the show). And much appreciation to the owner for making this wonderful experience possible.

Ordered the Ital stew today with rice and peas . It looked amazing! The taste was okay needed some more flavour then I'm sure it would have been perfect. Will give them another shot whenever I'm in the area again.

Were here for a lunch on Sunday. They have a cute patio and very friendly staff. My first time trying Jamaican roti and it was excellent. We also had the chicken with rice and peas (means beans FYI) and the ox tail. The ox tail was fantastic. We also had the akee spring rolls with the guava jelly - fantastic. Very kind staff, very good food. Must try.

We usually get delivery, which is phenomenal but for the first time we dined in. So nice to know the food quality is the same! Hot, delicious, flavourful! Service is always friendly, atmosphere is casual and cool. We will be eating in again for sure, the perk of which was enjoying the very tasty cocktail menu!

Found this beautiful little gem while my friends and I were on our way back from a meeting and we all just felt for some Jamaican food. From the moment we walked into the restaurant, the ambiance was screaming mello Jamaica, so relaxed and welcoming. Also, the music added to the experience with consistent reggae music. We were greeted by Kristy who did her very best to ensure we were well taken care of all throughout our dining experience. Last but not least, the food was excitingly delicious, literally everything was on point; from the curry gravy, the pickle, the plantain, the saltfish fritters, the rice and peas, the fish and the jerk pork. I will definitely return. I highly recommend that you visit and have your own amazing experience. Side note: I get worried when I go to a Jamaican restaurant and receive great customer service because usually the food doesn't taste good/authentic, IYKYK. But they changed my perception, this is the first and only Jamaican restaurant that sells delicious food and provide great service with a beautiful ambiance.

I recently checked out Starapples Restaurant during their monthly brunch event. The whole experience from the moment we stepped through the door was fabulous! The servers were very friendly, accommodating, and added so much joy to the experience. The DJ during their brunch event was amazing. The art and decor in the restaurant creates a really colourful and relaxing atmosphere The food was a delicious take on some very traditional dishes and they have some unique creations too. The Ackee and Callalloo tasted fresh and well seasoned. Everything from their Tru Juice to their porridge to their bread pudding will have you coming back for more! I personally can't wait to go back and check out their dinner menu.
